No long wait time and service was good

This by far is the worst pharmacy I've ever visited. The pharmacy techs act like they are doing you a favor by filling prescriptions! I absolutely hate this place. I never experienced this type of rude and unpleasant behavior at the 431 location and I wish it wasn't so far away or I'd definitely go back. Walgreens on 202, y'all need to get it together and have more customer service training or something because this makes no sense for a people to have such nasty attitudes and have the audacity to be in the medical field!

What has happened to this store?? The staff in the pharmacy are so rude! They have their jobs to help with the care of sick people but heaven forbid a person calls to inquire about a prescription either for themselves or a loved one! No one ever smiles or is friendly or helpful anymore. If that's the best they have to offer then I recommend changing pharmacies and never looking back. Apparently they don't need anyone's business to begin with.

I really hate how they are unorganized. I am a nursing student with ADHD, and I have spent days without medicine due to their truck orders being out of wack. If you have issues with getting your medications here, go somewhere else. It isn't worth the hassle or time.

This is just to review my COVID-19 test experience and not any other retail services of the store. There is a pre-step before coming on site for the actual swab test. One has to go online and fill out a questionnaire and reserve an appointment time. After submitting this portion, you wait again for them to "confirm" for the actual test to be placed. For me, that took a day or so between clicking online submission and receiving the email confirmation to proceed onsite. I requested the PCR (self-swab) test and the email instructions read to come to the drive thru lane. Onsite testing at-a-glance: We were slightly frustrated when we were told that we were in the "wrong lane" at the drive thru - so if you're coming here for your COVID test, come to the inner lane, closer to the staff window. After 10 extra minutes of switching lanes and waiting, I am handed two bags - one is the LabCorp bag with the vial tube (where you place your signed consent form) and the second is a smaller bag with the nasal swab (looks like a q-tip). They will guide you to self-swab both nostrils and to place the swab into the vial. There's a box to the right where one can drop the LabCorp bag with your now swab enclosed vial and hurah, it's done! While I did feel a bit bad for the cars behind us while they had to wait until I did all of this, but personally speaking, it was quite a simple visit that didn't take long. The only catch is that the staff also weren't too sure how billing would exactly play out (apparently I came the second day they rolled this out at this location), but the staff were told that the insurance info provided at the online questionnaire will be directly billed by the laboratory processing the test (LabCorp). So no actual payment is discussed at the specimen collection. We'll see how smoothly (or not) this part goes.

Update: Our Doctor just informed us she could not by law refuse his medication. We told her everything that happened including him saying he was sick and just wanted his s*** so he could go home since she wanted to keep trying to be rude and argue with me. We will be contacting our lawyer about this. We will be transferring all of our perscriptions to CVS. I've never been treated or talked to so poorly by a cashier in my life. We have been going to the location on Quintard Ave in Anniston, Al for years. Unfortunately, I must say I am appalled by the treatment we recieved tonight by Rachel. When we got to the drive thru around 7:45pm there was 2 vehicles before us. We patiently waited our turn and when we finally got to the drive thru window another car pulled up in the drop off line. To our surprise the boy (Ryan) at the window waited on them before us. This would of been fine if they were doing what the line was intended for which is drop off a perscription, but no they got full service. Ryan left the window to check on their perscription and after a few minutes of no help I told my husband to push the button for service. A girl came on and told us to wait in a very nasty tone. The same girl (Rachel) came to the window a few minutes later and proceeded to get my husband's script filled. During this time I asked her if the drop off line was a full service line and she told me it was. I told her well it says drop off only. I then started to speak with my husband about how it was rude for them to speak to us that way and let the other car cut in front on other people who have been waiting their turn. I guess she heard that and took offense because she proceeded to tell me then maybe next time I need to come inside. My husband just wanting to get his medication so he could go home and get to felling better, so he told her that he was sick and to just give him his s*** so he could just go home. Those were his exact words. She said well now that you have cussed I am not selling you anything. You can take your money and get your scripts filled elsewhere. Of course this made him upset so he told her he was calling corporate and she said I don't give a s*** would you call. Wow, the exact same word but it is okay for you to use it in that tens, but he is denied his medication to treat his bronchitis. Now, we are back at the doctors office trying to get him a shot or some kind of help at 9 o'clock at night. All because she was obviously having a bad day and I asked why they would wait on someone who just pulled up when we had been there over 15 minutes. This must of made her very mad because her response was very childish and dramatic. People like her need to find a job away from the public because if she was my employee I would of fired her on the spot. Never will my associates speak to a customer in that manner. Shame on you Rachel. I will pray for you because I hope you will treat the next customers a little bit better. Everyone here are always so kind and we have never had an issue with anyone, but this girl is a walking time bomb!

The guy that works as a cashier in the pharmacy is really friendly. I enjoy using this store. I always get my prescriptions the same day. I also shop there quite frequently for makeup and other things. The vast majority of their staff is very helpful and those who aren't usually aren't around very long.
