About Athens Main Street
Athens Main Street is a charming and vibrant area in the heart of the city. The Merchant's Alley, a small but beautifully decorated walkway, features unique paintings and the hometown of Brittany Howard, the lead singer of Alabama Shakes. Visitors can discover kindness rocks and explore a unique mural display that requires opening doors to unveil the artwork. The area also hosts free Friday evening concerts, offering great entertainment in a fun and lively environment.

Nice little historic town. Make sure you eat at Rows and visit the old hardware store. Both are awesome.
