If you are expecting a typical Days Inn then you will be satisfied. The room I occupied was updated, comfortable, pretty clean and quiet. It had a nice fridge with separate freezer (great for ice packs) and a microwave. Room didn't have a desk but had a leather looking desk chair. There are several buildings in a kind of weird placement but it very well lit at night and felt safe. It looked like most occupants were typical travelers needing a 1 night stay. The breakfast was fast-food type biscuit, egg, sausage, gravy but it tasted pretty good. Also had milk, yogurt, cereal, bananas, oranges, juice, coffee. Downtown Athens, Athens University and surrounding homes a few miles away are very cute and worth a visit. I was there for the storytelling festival which was very nice.

We’ve stayed at Days Inn in Athens for years as we stop there part way on the way to see my parents. Every stay has been great and the room is always clean and quiet. The location is very convenient with multiple restaurants within walking distance.

Nice place to stay after a long drive. The staff were very friendly, and the room was just what we needed. The breakfast was fantastic.

The rooms smell of piss and cigarettes. The old semen stains on the floor are noticeable and made the carpet sharp enough to cut your feet. I be willing to bet any positive feed back on this hotel was made with fake email accounts by the owner. To make matters worse they have these big pictures behind the bed when I was stroking my girl it fell off the wall and landed on us. Then to make this wonderful experience even better they charged my card 250 for smoking in the room i don’t smoke neither did my girl. The amount I paid to stay in a practical trap house was unreal. If your a junkie residents staying there can provide you with what you need. Take the time to find something better

Mixed bag. I stayed here twice on consecutive nights. First night had to switch rooms due to mold on bedspread. Second room was fine. Mattress was new and firm so I slept well. Second night I had to pay $20 more for a queen instead of a king. First room smelled like an ashtray, so moved to another. Unfortunately, the room had no desk, no desk chair, so nowhere to sit and eat dinner, work on my laptop, watch TV, etc. Ended up having to use the suitcase stand as a bench and the sink counter as a desk. For $100/night in the middle of nowhere I expect to have a desk and desk chair. They should throw out the ratty old upholstered chair in the corner and replace it with a desk. All frequent travelers know you never sit on any upholstered surfaces in hotels because that is where certain nasty bugs hide before they hitchhike a ride to your home.

Giving 5 stars because we expected a much worse experience. We needed a place to sleep for 1 night and booked this one pretty much at the last min. The frost desk was very friendly, the room was very clean. Furniture is new, bathroom looks like it’s been recently renovated. The bed is comfy, ac works, tv works, Wi-Fi. Honestly no complains at all. Good job to the manager for keeping this place in great shape!

Horrible experience. Overcharged me for the room. Once we got to the hotel I was forced to pay a 300.00 deposit that I could not afford. Either that or forfeit the 130.00 non- refundable reservation. To add insult to injury there was no breakfast, the staff was rude. Lesson learned. Don't stay here! Red Roof is great.

I’m not sure how this motel has 4 stars. I’m leaving this review in all honesty and so that someone doesn’t make the same mistake that I did, expecting a “hotel” that has received a 4-star average google review. First, my “non-smoking”room wreaked of cigarette smoke. Then as I attempted to close the door, the inside door handle fell off. They gave me another room. It’s all LVT flooring, no carpet. It’s had a lot of paint, but everything is still old underneath. There wasn’t much seal/weatherstrip around the door, so nearly any small critter could join you. And at $117/night, I expected a little more. They had breakfast, but I opted out and walked next door to Bojangles; which was a plus to have so close. I wouldn’t stay at this motel again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.Walkability: Plenty of food options nearby and convenient to I-65

My only complaint is that the lobby smells like smoke. Otherwise, the location is perfect, right off the highway and easy access. The staff was very accommodating to our 6 person family and found us a suite, the price was perfect for our one night stay.Rooms: Rooms were clean, sheets didn't feel dirty. Big enough for 6 people to share a suite comfortably

Great property to take a walk around. Old school hotel (outdoor entrance to room) has been renovated. Not sure what the benefit is...to the guest...for monetization of room keys. Very strange, they don't even have the hotel name on them!Rooms are very small. No desk. Shower looked good, but did not operate properly, valves need work. Breakfast had Little Debbie-type rolls, not fresh baked.Looks like other hotels are being built at this exit. This is in addition to the ones already here...this will drive this hotel further down. Won't be back.

This hotel was such a great surprise! For the price, I wasn't expecting much. But the room, location and owner were truly PERFECTION! The beds were an extremely high-quality comfortable mattress that I usually see at high end hotels. The pillows were lush, everything was extremely clean, the AC worked great, the breakfast was extremely impressive, with lots of warm food options... And the owner and his family were absolutely WONDERFUL! The owner is the kindest man, and I had such a wonderful conversation with him. The location was so convenient for our travels, and was very quiet with lots of parking. I couldn't recommend this Hotel more! We'll be back regularly on our way to Florida.

This pet friendly hotel is conveniently located off I-65. The pet relief area had green grass & trees-puppy loved it. Room was adequate; breakfast was excellent; check-in and check-out staff were nice & helpful. Our check-out person offered a bottled water as I was filling up my personal water bottle-thoughtful!

Excellent customer service. Room 235 was very clean, fresh, and modern! They have a small little breakfast area in the lobby that was spotlessly clean and offered FREE B&G, eggs, sausage, two types of cereal, yogurt, muffins, apple/orange juice, coffee and water. It had something to satisfy each person in my family. Thanks for a great stay. See you next year!!!!Rooms: King bed is HUGE. The pull out sofa is just big enough for one.Walkability: Restaurants within a short walk. We drove a mile down the road to Buffalo Wild Wings. And a Dunkin Donuts

Probably the best Days Inn I've ever stayed at. The room was great, the fridge had a large freezer space, and I appreciated the chair and movable stand. The gentleman on shift was very friendly and kind! I don't usually stay at hotels with doors that own to the outside, but the area felt safe, and I appreciated being able to park right in front of my door. The location is great with a Bojangle's right next door, as well as other food options.
