Hibbett Sports in Athens is a top spot for athletic shoes and gear, located at the intersection of Hwy 72 & Old Decatur Road. The store carries major brands like Nike, Jordan, adidas, Under Armour, New Balance, Mizuno, and Hoka. It is a one-stop shop for items including basketball shoes, cleats, running shoes, baseball or softball bats, soccer balls, and football helmets for men and kids. Customers report a great experience with staff who are welcoming, helpful, and answer many questions with a smile. Service is noted as fast, with employees quickly checking for sizes. Shoppers feel treated very well, with helpful recommendations that are not pushy. The selection, especially during seasonal changes, is described as amazing with good items from major brands. However, some prices are viewed as disappointingly high. Overall, the excellent service makes customers feel comfortable and eager to return.
Both the manager and the sales associate were awesome and patient.
