Food was decent, service was great. Would try again if same scenario.I decided to try Logan's because I was staying at a nearby hotel and didn't feel like driving anywhere so I walked the few hundred yards to grab dinner. It wasn't until I was at the restaurant and decided to check-in that I seen the two star rating. Apprehensive because of the negative service and food reviews I entered. I was promptly seated and greeted by Robert who came over within a minute of me being seated to grab my drink order and returned pretty quick with what I asked for. I had him give me a few minutes to make up my mind and finally decided on the Shrimp Stacked Salmon. A salmon patty with 5 shrimp on it and both on top of mash potatoes. I ordered broccoli and a garden salad with blue cheese for the sides. The salad was cold, fresh, and tasted pretty decent. The main "gripe" I have is the main entree took almost 15 minutes to come out after I had finished my salad. Robert continued to come to the table to apologize. When it arrived it was hot(ish). However, the shrimp seemed to have been cooked an while ago and the broccoli was old as well. The salmon was fine and the potatoes were good.Overall the place isn't too bad and is hit or miss I guess. When I am back in the area and staying in the same hotel I'd probably come back over and try it again. I was going to give it three stars as it was a pretty average experience but Robert gave it the fourth star. His attentiveness and level of service were very good.

Ordered filet with sautéed mushrooms and house salad. Filet and salad were good. The sautéed mushrooms are no longer sautéed. They are baked. They were dry and hard. When leaving the greeter at the door saw us get up from our table. As soon as we walked pasted him he quickly turned to talk to the other 2 coworkers. Never got a thank you or have a good night.

This Athen's Logan's is by far the lowest food quality and service wise, in comparison to the Airport Rd and University Drive locations in Huntsville.Update 2024: The location improved alot and my last experience was great!

Me and my wife ate here on 3/31/24.. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT GO BACK EVER AGAIN!! First I asked to be seated at a TABLE NOT a booth... and what do we get?? A two person BOOTH! Then I couldnt drink my drink due to a broken straw! Then our waiter DIDNT bring us small plates with our rolls! Then we went to order and yall were OUT of chicken tenders AND pork!! HOW DO YOU RUN OUT OF POPULAR MENU ITEMS??? Then after about 40 mins FINALLY get our food and my country fried steak is OVERCOOKED and come to find out my wife's steak which she asked for MEDIUM WELL was RAW inside!! My wife has now been sick for THREE DAYS WITH FOOD POISONING!!! SO WE WILL NOT BE BACK AND I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE TO AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!! VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!

Sweet tea is horrible not southern sweet tea food was no good steak was nothing but fat it was over $90 for me my wife and son I will not be back has gone downhill big

You people are Thieves and you ought to be ashamed of yourself. FIRST I ordered a salmon salad. You people didn’t even have the common decency to put atleast a half salmon in my order. The salmon fit in the middle of my palm. I had to remove 2 handfuls of salad to Accommodate that tiny bit of salmon you people gave me. 4 bites it was gone and for 18$. You Thieves!!!

Server was matter of fact and really just going through the motions. Usually servers at the particular Logan's are friendly and attentive. Just feel there needs to be more customer service training. And just to let you know they were not busy.Dietary restrictions: Low carb

Service was great. Food was not. My first ribeye was overcooked and tough. It was remade. The second came out after 15 minutes, again overcooked, and this time with the added benefit of no seasoning. By now, my children were done eating, so I told the waitress that I did not want to wait a 3rd time for it to be redone. The manager was told me that she adjusted my bill to remove it, but this morning it proceeded to post to my account for the full price. They were not that busy last night. I would be more understanding of the cooking issue of the restaurant had been full or busier than what it was. Kudos to my server for trying her best to make it right.

Both my husband and I have this place a second try after the first awful experience, our server this time around was point on! She was very versed in her product, very professional in her position and point on with her serving talents, the terrible experience was not having steaks, hamburgers, onions mushrooms etc "out of stock" truck did not come today situation making this steak house less to be desired... And the kicker to that statement this restaurant is fairly new... We ended up having the rib eye sandwich which did not meet the expectation we were after as they did not have lettuce nor tomatoes to add to sandwich. We were left with a rib eye slab 1/8" thick, tasted like it was placed on the griddle to cook from frozen state, came to table Luke warm, not a pleasurable eating experience, but our server did fill us up on hot bread and butter and delicious sweet tea... Don't know if we would give this place a third try or not... Hopefully ownership will understand that they need to TRAIN their servers like the one we had to masked all the deficiencies or make sure when doing inventory and ordering that those "steak" items are on the truck, being that it is known to be a steakhouse...

Stopped at this location while going through Athens, Alabama. The seating wait was not that long. However, after we were seated, the servicing wait was very long. I had to ask the waitress if she could have her supervisor turn the air conditioning down some because it was very cold in there to me, but he food was well prepared and tasty.

Love the new management, their leadership makes the overall atmosphere very welcoming. Service was great and food was really good.
