Ever since Red Dot has taken over this facility it has been in constant decline and the rates continue to rise. My rent has been increased twice in less than a year, and I've had my things stored there for over a decade. I went by to check on my unit due to the fact that people have been seeing skateboarders inside the fence and someone's unit has been broken into, and I found the exit gate is basically bent into the shape of an L. Anyone can drive in or out with no problems. One of the main reasons I initially rented a unit, when it was EZ Storage, was because it was fenced and you had to have a code to get in. I felt safe storing my things there. Now, not so much. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO REDDOT STORAGE 3 TIMES IN THE PAST 2 WEEKS TO LET THEM KNOW ABOUT THE GATE AND NOBODY WILL RESPOND. I miss the other company and wish they hadn't sold out. At least then there was somebody local to talk to and problems were solved if ever any arose. I miss EZ Storage and as soon as I can get a truck, I'm getting my stuff as far away from RedDot as possible. They have no customer service skills and their disregard is unbelievable. If anyone is looking for storage, I HIGHLY recommend you go anywhere but here.
They have increased my rent 3 times in this past year alone. 3 TIMES!!!! I received notice of this recent increase after notifying them of the gate... Which is been almost 2 months and it still hasn't been fixed. I'm an over their bs excuses and their greed.
****Storage units were taken over by SROA and they're not any better than Red Dot. Nothing has changed as far as keeping the property clean, the gate is still ALWAYS stuck open, and they've gone up on my rent two more times this year alone. They now want me to pay $98/mth for a closet unit and give me the blanket generic statement when I ask why. I can go across the street, get a climate controlled unit twice as big, and pay quite a bit less. I could understand the rent increase if there were an onsite employee, or any kind of amenities, but you don't get spit. Nothing. And the REALLY messed up thing is, there's so many people renting units nowadays, they don't need to increase because they're making plenty. It's just FLAT OUT GREED. I will either remove my stuff and trash it or go across the street. They will NOT ANOTHER DIME FROM ME.

Tabitha the property manager was amazing! She got us all set up so quickly and answered all questions I had! But when I got to the storage someone was parked in our spot. I will have to call in the morning to get that figured out but I have 100% faith that Tabitha will figure it out no problem.
