This place sucks. It's way too tight for it to be a storage center. I've been here for like 6 days and I'm canceling my unit and going somewhere else. Every single time I've been here people just park in the middle of the isles with no space to go around. You'll be lucky if the gate opens when you're leaving or else you'll be stuck there until the gate decides it wants to open itself. The price here should be half the price of what they're charging. I got a 10x20 unit and I promise you it's not a 10x20 lol. Just a super inconvient storage center.

THANK YOU!!!! Mrs. Sarah in Huntsville!!!! So kind, courteous and friendly! I’ve had issues with this unit in the past and customer service, but she is cleaning house! Before I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone, but she is on top of her game-making it so much better for customers and our belongings. Five stars lady keep doing what you’re doing!

I was trapped in the facility around the last week in June 2024. No one to help me out or let me out. Customer service painted the picture that it was my responsibility to find my own way out. It was 98° that afternoon and I had no one to call but Customer Service which showed no concern to help me get out of the facility. Luckily a random UPS driver had pulled over to go over his route. It was there to go to the keypad and punch in my code so I can go out the way I came in if it wasn’t for him there’s no telling how long I would have been sitting in the sun, the gate was cracked open about 2 feet just wide enough for a human to squeeze through but certainly not a vehicle nevertheless SUV. I called customer service every week since then to get an update on the gate being repaired so I can enter an exit the facility without being trapped. They told me that I would be reimbursed for my inconvenience but only when the gate has been repaired. finally, when I called July 21, 2024 the representatives stated that the gate had been repaired. so when I asked for my account to be credited and adjusted, she proceeded to tell me that she was only able to credit me $10. I remind you that my storage fee is $100 a month. With this going on, I wasn’t able to use the facility that I’m paying $100 a month for the whole month. I waited 3 1/2 weeks for a gate to be fixed so I can access my unit without being trapped in the 90 degree heat. It doesnt say in the contract to bring a chaperone just in case I get trapped in. and if you did have a chaperone, how was the other person supposed to be able to get out just to let you out if they are trapped in as well. customer Service had no sympathy for this and basically brush it off as if it was my problem to figure out. There are no emergency contact numbers for emergencies. There are no emergency contact numbers for after hours. There are no emergency contact numbers if you are trapped. And basically if you are trapped, you are pretty much on your own. I’ve faithfully paid my bill with this company for seven years and this is the response I get when I’m trapped in there facility when their equipment malfunctioned. No one reached out to let me know the gate was fixed and it was available for use or to apologize for this inconvenience. Very disappointed. Be careful people who you trust with your belongings and the services you pay your hard earned money for.

Went to Red Dot Storage, intersection Mooresville and Nick Davis Rd on July 3rd at 1:30. Dropped off an item went to the exit gate. The exit gate was half open. I stopped on the yellow stripe so the sensor would open the gate. NOTHING happened. I moved back and forth over the yellow stripe but still no gate opening. I called the Red Dot Storage phone number and informed the lady I was trapped inside their facility and would she send her maintenance person or someone to let me out. She said NO. She said my only option was to call family or a friend to come let me out. I Said NO, it was her responsibility since I was trapped in her facility. Please don't rent from Red Dot Storage.

Was easy to book a parking space for our travel trailer. Location is a big plus. Well maintained facilities too.

The reviews on here are concerning, to say the least. I will say that I haven't spoken to anyone who has been rude to me, and I haven't had my rate raised, so those accusations seem to be false. If you read the contract, the rent is supposed to go up after a certain period of time.
My issue is that I think it is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous for you all to put a lock on my unit over $80. I have made payments to you all faithfully, and I will continue to do so. I do think that it is overkill to threaten someone with auctioning off all of their items they own because they are 13 days late on a $70 payment. Especially since I always pay and have never been more than 2/3 days late. I am now worried that even after I make my payment today, the lock will never be removed based on reviews. I hope this is not the case.
Please be aware that if you are 7 days late on a $70 payment, a lock will be placed on your unit, and they will threaten you with auctioning off your things. Things that are worth at least 30 times more than that.
I think that I will be paying a trip to my unit this week after seeing these reviews, just to be on the safe side. You all put a lock on so fast that will have to be removed as quickly as you put it on. Which would be fine, but it looks like you don't have many people to remove them.

My experience was excellent. The first contact was Shantal and she was ver efficient in asking date I needed the unit, what size I needed etc. the whole application process easy. I haven’t had to fill my unit yet, but I am looking forward to storing tote boxes of items that I don’t have room for in my home.

Shamoya was very easy to work with, she answered all my questions and took care of everything. Within 10 minutes I had the unit I needed and didn’t have to really do much of anything myself. Quick and easy.

If you leave your things here they will be stolen and the insurance company is in on the robbery scheme. They force you to use there insurance company. Do not use this place.
