This was my first time at Solar Nails and Spa. The establishment was clean, bright, well maintained and organized. I was greeted upon entering and found that the nail technician that did my nails, Cinthia, was friendly and professional. I will definitely return to Solar Nails and Spa.

They nicked me a lot with their drill thing. They didn't prep my nails enough so my nails started lifting. And one of them just came off. See photo for reference. When I went back for a fill in, I showed two of them my lifting nails and they both said it was fine and gave me a fill in. I went to a different salon and they showed me where a fungus was starting because they didn't do anything about my lifting nails. See the photo for reference, it is my middle and ring finger. Don't get a fill in if your nails are lifting.
The nail guy was also watching a video on his phone the whole time he was doing my nails and nicked me more.
also, when drying my hands off he stubbed my nails and bent it backward with the towel. It was really just him not caring or being careful.
EDIT: If you really want to make this right you need to refund me for both sets of nails. Having a nail fungus is a serious thing and your shop almost giving me one is inexcusable.
Cleanliness: Not clean at all
Stylist: It was a male and he was not friendly and seemed like he just wanted to get it over with and rushed through everything.

This was my first time to visit this salon to have something for myself. The second time for my granddaughter. The first time ( about a week) I took my granddaughter to get some acrylic nails.
The young woman, who did her nails was pleasant enough. However, she was more interested in what she was watching on TV than communicating with my granddaughter or myself ( sitting in the chair next to my granddaughter). My granddaughter, who is eleven couldn't understand what she was saying whenever she would instruct her to do something with her hands or nails. Today 6-17-2024, my granddaughter asked if I'd take her to have them filled in and 3 of them replaced. I called beforehand to ask the cost. When I called I ask the cost of a fill in, the guy told me $25. Once we got there the guy started working on my granddaughters nails. He brought his phone to the work station and watched it the entire time he was doing my granddaughters nail. He burned her finger with the tool he was using. To my knowledge he only spoke to her twice the entire time. He was extremely RUDE! I had planned on getting a pedicure. Once the woman finished the customer she was working on, she started the water to soak my feet. All of the women have been very friendly both times. After the guy finished my granddaughters nails she went to pay for them ( with her birthday money) while I went over to put my feet under the dryer. She came over to me with a sad look on her face and told me that he told the woman to charge her $50.50.
I was quite upset, however, she didn't want me to mention anything to the woman about the cost. I didn't while we were still there, because I didn't know how they charge for the different things.
Also, the woman who did my pedicure didn't paint them completely. Actually the polish that I chose was very thick so she put something in it to thin it in order to paint my toes. Once I got in the car I noticed one toenail looked like a big blob, I rubbed it and it all started coming off.
Once we got home, I thought more about it and decided to read their reviews. It appears to me this business is known for operating their business this way.
Needless to say I won't go back to the business again.
AND to the guy...( owner) you should be ashamed for your rudeness towards anyone but especially an eleven year old.
Cleanliness: The floors and light fixtures had thick dust on them. I didn't understand the purpose of the plastic bag in the pedicure sinks. If the water doesn't go out immediately ( slow drainage) and you aren't disinfecting them between customers, all your doing is putting a clean plastic bag over nasty foot debri. I would think it's Unsanitary

went in today to get my toes and nails painted and they charged me $105!!!! my nails were chipped before i even got into my car. this place use to be so good but it's completely done a 360. i wouldn't recommend this place and i will never come back. they are very unfriendly and extremely unprofessional. there's absolutely no reason to charge somebody that much for the services that were provided .

Sue was great as usual.
I was very disappointed in the cost. I was told by Sue to pay $65 for basic pedicure and manicure with gel polish on nails but was rudely told by owner NO you owe me $85. After going there over 10 years I will not go back.
