On April 1, 1981, Dr. John Hammons bought an existing veterinary practice and opened Town & Country Animal Hospital. Dr. Hammons practiced large animal medicine along with small animal medicine until 1988. The farm animal portion of the practice included farm calls, haul-in facilities with hospitalization capabilities, and stockyard testing. After ceasing large animal practice, Town & Country Animal Hospital began concentrating on providing more comprehensive treatment for small animal companions. Over the years, with the growth of the practice, the hospital interior was renovated to better utilize the limited space available. We are committed to providing compassionate and professional veterinary services to animal companions.
