Very kind staff. The interior is small and I mean this as a complement: it is ludicrous how much stock is in there ?. They have basically the same selection as a large scale hardware store expertly packed and stacked into a small store. The selection is very useful and well organized, it just might take you a minute to find everything, on your own. But the owner is very nice and will surely lead you to what you are looking for very quickly.

This hardware store is full of charm and unexpected treasures. I went to Auburn Hardware knowing I could get exactly what I needed. And I was right. Long time and valuable employee Hank knew exactly what I wanted and had me on my way pronto to get the project I was working on finished. Thanks

First place in 100 miles to have those green propane cylinders. Kind of like Schitt’s Creek’s David’s Rose Apothecary, but an actual hardware store too. Thank you for supplying heat to my camping family for the weekend.

The best place, I love the smell when you walk in and the owner is always so helpful with all of the projects we do. He sells more then just hardware and it is definitely worth stopping in! Friendly and great service always!

The owner, Hank, is a staple in the Auburn community and is also a very nice and caring person. The hardware he sells is high quality and very, very reasonably priced. He sells glass, too! If you think he might sell it, more than likely he does. This is how small town America used to be with store owners who care, not huge corporations that own you and your livelihood. It's great to see that Auburn Hardware is still thriving.
