** I want to preface this by saying I understand this is likely not an employee issue, but a Dollar Tree issue. They need to hire more employees at all of there stores. They are overwhelmed. **
I placed an online order set to be picked up at this location. When I received the email telling me my order was ready to be picked up, I went over to the store. It was not ready. Apparently they just send those emails out on random dates and they are not accurate. I was also told “the back room is just way too messy right now to find your order”. Huh?! I was told to come back the next day at 4pm, and unsurprisingly, they still didn’t have it. It took me multiple days to get a refund from customer service because I had to prove “the box wouldn’t arrive on a later truck”. Huh?! Long story short, skip out on placing online orders. This store is also infamous for the messes and boxes everywhere. And for what? They are never stocked with good items. It’s a total mess. Visit the three Opelika locations instead. They’re a 10/10! I tried to exchange an item, i didn’t have receipt but they ask if you want a receipt or not so I didn’t get one well the manager refused to exchange the item, he is very rude will not shop this store again

Managers should be ashamed of themselves. Whenever I go to this dollar tree they do not have any bags. Managers, you are putting your employees in an uncomfortable and tough situation. Do better and make sure you have bags, it’s not hard.

I bought a can opener that didn't work. I tried to return it but they said they don't accept returns. I told them I had the can in my car to see if they could try to open it. I brought the can into the store and they tried to open it but they were unsuccessful as well. They still would not accept the return. I can not in my right mind buy from a store that knowingly sells products that don't work. This store sells Chinese garbage that breaks easily or never works in the first place. Shop elsewhere and you'll save time and money.

There was nothing on the shelves, boxes everywhere and the cashier said grab a bag and put your stuff in because she couldnt bag the stuff because her hand was hurt… it was just awful looking in there it’s like they haven’t stocked shelves in like 2 months .

Almost every time I come it is closed, there are 10 to 15 minutes left and they no longer want to attend.

This is the worst Dollar Tree I’ve ever been in. I keep trying to give it a chance, but it always disappoints. We end up driving the extra 15 minutes to go to the one in Opelika because it’s so much better. You can never find an employee in the store, the shelves are always empty. Their are tons of boxes on carts everywhere including the middle of the aisles. It’s like they’re trying to restock the shelves but it never happens and it just creates an even bigger mess and makes the store even more difficult to navigate.

This is the worst dollar tree I have ever been to. The employees are TERRIBLE! I have been here multiple times and honestly it gets worse every time I visit!The cashier was literally eating hot wings while checking me out! Licking her fingers while touching stuff.The other employee had on pajamas and a bonnet while using strong profanityThe store and parking lot is full of garbage!The store is junkie and nasty, never has anything in stock and the manager is no better!!I’m shocked to see this dollar tree like this in Auburn!Honestly this store needs to fire everybody and start from scratch because this is not it?
