I do not recommend anyone use King Honda. Their fees are highway robbery! $179 diagnostic fee just to look at the car; does NOT go towards repairs. Called three other Honda dealerships and they all put that towards the repair if you choose to have the work done. McConnell Honda in Montgomery charges $81 and applies it toward the repair. Not to mention King Honda's labor rate is $218.17 per hour! Forgive this OOS Mama's rant here but they are ripping people off @ King Honda. McConnell's labor rate is $154 per hour and Courtesy Honda here in Florida charges $155 per hour. Take your vehicle someplace else!

I would NEVER purchase a vehicle at this dealership under any circumstances after the experience we had. We talked with a salesperson about a car that had been traded that same afternoon. We were looking for a first car for our daughter and she loved it. We looked it over, sat in it, asked to test drive but we're told we couldn't because it had not been checked out by the shop and something could happen during the test drive. We gave him our contact information since they couldn't tell us the exact price yet but promised to call on Monday. We received a proposal, set up an appointment and were planning to purchase it the next afternoon if everything checked out okay. Literaly one hour before we were to be there, we were told that the car had sold that morning. The salesman said he "couldn't stop a sale". After contacting the GM, I was told that it's unfortunate that it was handled that way, but another couple bought it for their daughter and it "sounded like two similar situations". He made a lot of excuses for what happened and said he'd talk to the salesperson, but he wouldn't have handled it that way.Nothing he could do about it now though. At the end of the day, it's about making a sale and not keeping your word or helping the customer at this dealership.

Heading to beach and got rear ended pretty bad. The back would close but the sensor showed it was opened so every second we drove it was beeping. We still had 5 hours left to drive. We called and Rob to us to stop by to see what they could do. And the technician was able to stop the beep. So thankful. Out in less than an hour. Thanks Rob \\u0026 crew

I bought a new 2020 Pilot Touring here, and have not stopped having issues since I hit around 600 miles on the odometer. I have been in the shop for repairs around 20 or so times with no end in sight for my problems. I traded in a great working car for this piece of junk.I've had problems with the radio and emergency braking for over 3 years! This car is a safety hazard. This has been the worst car and service experience that I've ever had.See here for a few (but not all) of the issues that you might expect if you buy a Honda and deal with this company:youtube.com/playlist?lis…Update 1/8/2023: The last service was to replace the floor wire harness, now I have additional problems. The car was in the shop from December 29 to Jan 6 this time.Honda corporate has told me multiple times that King Honda service can claim that the car is unrepairable and they will buy it back. King Honda's service manager tells me that they can't do that. What am I supposed to do with this stupid car?I brought the car in with a list of 14 operational and repair damage problems including the radio/ entertainment issues. 9 of those 14 problems were not addressed. One (sagging/ separating bumper) I was told I would have to take to a collision center to have reviewed. The others I was told could not be reproduced, therefore nothing can be done. Even though I have pictures and videos (see YouTube playlist above) of most of the safety issues in the car, I'm told that since it cannot be reproduced in the shop that it cannot be fixed or addressed further. They seemed to be more concerned with getting their rental car back than completing the repairs. Also, a broken trim piece that they told me they had the replacement parts for ready to install 3 months ago are still not repaired, and I'm told that the parts have been ordered again...Update 4/24/2023: I have finally gotten rid of my nightmare car and no longer have to deal with this nightmare company. There were some good people working here, but none of them had the power to make things right. King Honda dragged me through the mud for 3 years!

I had an amazing experience here! I came in as a first time car buyer and Shane Horn was the best salesman. He took time to keep communication up outside of his time at the dealership and was very patient with me. He didn’t make me feel pressured into getting the car. He was very nice and genuine, I would most definitely go back to him no hesitation. I love my new car! 10/10 recommend!

Worst car purchasing experience EVER! Nobody was prepared when we arrived. We were handed the keys, said deal was done! We drove off and in less than an hour , they picked up the vehicle, said we didn’t have a piece of documentation they needed, but gave us zero time to get it. They were acting like we were trying to steal the vehicle. We asked for our original documents returned, stated that they couldn’t produce them, but they would send copies! They have not done that as well!Go to Mike Patton Honda of La Grange, ask for Mr. Avery! Great place?. Very organized!

WE CURRENTLY OWN two Honda vehicles--a 2017 Honda Pilot we bought from King Honda at the old location in Auburn AL, and a 2018 Honda CRV we bought in Butte MT. The Honda Brand Hondas have been the most trouble free vehicles we have owned since the 1980s--including a Civic and two earlier CRVs. Dependability, security, comfort, and value have always been the case with our vehicles. The company has made significant improvements to reliability and driver assistance systems in recent years. The Old King HondaThe old location was a dump. Dirty, cramped, and deteriorating facility. I hope the next property owner bulldozes the buildings and parking lot and builds an attractive, new business for a fast-growing economy. The New King HondaThe brand new dealership is in a great location at Hwy 280 and Opelika Rd. The sales staff need sales training and customer service skills to match their products and the clientele. Fat lazy guys sitting at their new desks is a tired old way of doing business (or not doing it). The old paradigm of 7:30 to 6:00 six days a week is crushing to a sales group and results in low morale, in-fighting, poor health, and cynicism. The old ways of being "Like a Used Car Salesman" isn't going to work for the business or the people. The service people also need help. Ignoring customers, turning your back, talking on the phone, making excuses, and trying to impress customers with your superior knowledge won't cut it. Greeting people, listening carefully, affirming your commitment and understanding, and looking for ways to help--these are the proven skills of up-selling and repeat business. Mr. Dave King, it's time to get your money's worth--and give your customers their money's worth. And P.S. Fiona is your best employee. J.W.Warren

We purchased a new vehicle for my wife from King Honda and could not have had a better experience. Reid balanced thorough knowledge with a no-pressure, professional approach. He answered all of our questions and the entire team provided top-notch service. If you are in the market for a new car, stop by to see them!

I emailed the business because I was looking for a particular car. Reid replied almost immediately and answered all of my questions. When I showed up to the lot I saw another car that I liked. Even better. Reid. Talked with me and my son for whom we were buying the car. It was a very pleasant experience, even Rob, the general manager was pleasant and getting financing was easy! I would use them again next time and I'm in Auburn or Opelika!

I had a great experience at King Honda! The salesman was Rickey Waiver (Rick). I placed a deposit on a vehicle and he kept me updated with the production date and transit dates. I would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to go check this dealership out, especially Rick!
