Very clean store, blends in well with the historic buildings around but still stands out enough to catch your eye. Great selection in store.

This place is ridiculous, ESPECIALLY the security guard….. I placed an online order while I was in town and decided to leave the parking lot until my order was ready for pickup. My receipt said it would be ready in approximately 35-45 minutes so I decided to get out of my car and walk elsewhere downtown while I waited. The security guard basically had my car towed as soon as I left the parking lot! Literally within 20 minutes my car was towed. I came back and told her that I was in fact following the “rules” of the towing sign because I was a current PAYING customer and had the receipt to prove it. She was extremely rude and told me I should’ve just sat in my car and waited instead of getting out. I told her I had better things to do than just sit in my car and watch people in the parking lot like her. After reading other reviews, I see that I’m not the only one who has had a problem with the security guard here.

Great people and service. The deli is awesome and feels like a secret spot in downtown Auburn for a quick, affordable meal to go instead of waiting in long lines elsewhere. David Salmon is the meat department manager and is one of the best in the area in my opinion. Chelsea at customer service is also very friendly and welcoming to people entering the business

This Publix is #1 in my book. My daughter and I were traveling home from Gulf Shores with a planned stop in Auburn for my grandson’s birthday. I tried for an hour to get my grocery list sent to them on the app with no luck. We were on a really tight schedule to pickup groceries, cook his birthday dinner and make it to church on time. I called the store and they helped me get my list sent and in an hour had my groceries ready to pickup. Thank you to all involved we were able to make it happen. Cooked and fed 12-14 and still made it to church on time!!!!Pam Barnes

Expensive. Not a whole foods. All competitors sell the same stuff for at least a dollar less. I avoid shopping at Publix at all cost. Not good. On top of they asked my wife in Spanish, "did you grow up in Mexico?" Wife is indian ND English is her 1st language. Massive mistake.

Amazing local. Clean, friendly, and helpful. What you’d expect from a Publix.

Super friendly staff! Love the deli and pharmacy workers. Easy to work with for a catering order and the pinwheels and petit fours were delicious

An unarmed security guard threatened to have me towed because I purchased lunch at Publix and walked next door to the church courtyard to eat. She chased me across the parking lot yelling. Saw her sitting in her car and emerging to harass other customers as well. Absolutely ridiculous. I was a paying Publix customer and had the receipt to prove it, not a college student parking at Publix to go to class. Will not return to this location.

I've never had a bad moment at any Publix store. This was my first visit to this location. It's a little small but the staff was very friendly at this location as well as the others I've visited.

Met a very friendly manager today. Offered me a free product to try which was appreciative. Surprising amount of products as well which is nice for a "smaller" Publix.
