Would not recommend staying here , very lousy management and maintenance.Roommates are not considerate at all will not be renewing lease agreement.

I’ve had a very disappointing experience living here. The management tends to add hidden fees, like a $25 parking charge when general parking is free and covered parking is $50. I’m not sure where this fee comes from, but they say they’ll help resolve it, even though it shouldn’t exist in the first place.
The apartments themselves are poorly maintained—uneven floors, paint over outlets, and a lack of thorough cleaning. When I moved in, I found animal hair still on the floors after the supposed “cleaning.”
Maintenance is 💩. I reported missing shelves in the pantry when I moved in and was told we would have the right shelves within three days after they put in cheap shelves. It’s now been three months, and I’m still waiting.
To top it off, my car was towed because the wrong sticker, even though I live there, while a rundown van has taken up two parking spots for the past five months without consequence. Overall, this place is not worth the time or headache.

It's been 3 days since I moved into the subleased apartment, and I'm generally happy with it. However, I encountered a problem with the management:
I had to pay an extra $16.19 for a "move-in inspection" not mentioned in the lease agreement. Ironically, they didn't have my keys when I arrived. But in the email they sent me, they warned me saying "you can't get your keys if you don't complete this payment ahead", for the keys they don't have at hand. Even worse, they didn't even realize at first that they don't have the keys. They searched for them but eventually told me they couldn't provide them because the previous tenant hadn’t returned them. I was frustrated and exhausted, wanting to unpack and eat. They told me to contact the previous tenant myself. Thankfully, that tenant was helpful, she sent one of the roommates and let me in. And this roommate happens to be the main reason am happy about this apartment. Very friendly, cooperative, and helpful.

The worst experience I have had with housing yet.
They are making all the right moves to squeeze as much money as they can out of you.
I would have given a 0 star if I could.
For the duration of my stay, my access key to the gym, pool and the common area never worked. Neither did my roommates or a 1000 other people’s.
They charge money for late moving out and they keep the move out day on a Friday at noon.
And they do not budge at all.
Icing on top, they ask you to move out 4 days before any other place does and you end up paying over $100 a day for a hotel because no place starts their lease at that date.
Apartments are very poorly maintained and good luck with your roommates!

I've lived here for 18 months, and overall, it's worth the price. The experience largely depends on your roommates. With a good roommate, it can be one of the best places to live. However, issues may arise if pets are involved, there's smoking, or if a couple is sharing a room.
For my case, initially, they refused my request to change my room until the end of my first contract, and I had to renew it since I couldn't find another place. Eventually, they changed my room without charging the usual $250 fee, which was very helpful. The management is understanding, and the staff are nice. The place is safe; I never noticed any threats during my stay.
A security shuttle stops at the Research Park, almost in front of the complex, and there's a bus stop inside the complex. Unfortunately, there are no buses on weekends, which makes a challenge if you don't have a car.
SimpleBills manages utility bills and sometimes charges more than actual usage as many residents report. However, compared to other apartments and realties in Auburn, SimpleBills takes less money.
The maintenance team responds quite quickly if you submit a request on the Beacon website.

Worst apartments ever. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! If I could give it zero stars, I would. When I first moved in, the apartment was not clean. I had to switch apartment numbers because it was so dirty. In a 12 month lease, I moved apartment numbers three times because they would not take care of my apartment. Also, someone died in the apartment across from me due to a shooting. Not even 2 months later, they moved someone else in. My apartment became molded and the pest control sucked because I still had roaches in my clean apartment. I always kept it cleaned, yet I kept seeing roaches. They would let trash sit at the dumpster for WEEKS. People be at the pools until 2am.

Believe it or not!!!!!Insects, cockroaches and today, scorpions…Probably soon snake??♂️Is this place suitable for living?There is no appropriate response.Don't be fooled by the pictures and be in a one-way contract for one year and pay exorbitant fees.

It's a shame that the new property manager is taking money from the rental assistance program and she is still putting people out of there apartment it's wrong and a shame she is doing that to people how lowdown and dirty can a person be but we will fight to have her investigated because the rental assistance said they sent checks to the Apartment complex. Sharon you wrong but you better hope you not stealing from the tenants Tell me where is the check they sent to the complexHer name is Shannon Carter she know who I'm talking about
