Brandon, the manager is a lifesaver! I had ordered a hitch for my pickup thinking I could install myself. The thing was too heavy for one person to do at home so I gave up and went by uhaul and asked if they could install. Brandon was so helpful and understanding he set the appointment for me.
The appointment time was met and he had it installed in no time! Very happy with the excellent service! I will be back and highly recommend! The people are just good folks!

Probably the worse U-Haul staff in existence. Nice to talk to but they are lazy. Stood in line behind 5 people with no staff around for about 10 min. Left came back 15 mins later, still all 5 waiting.

Absolutely horrible. Booked a trailer a month in advance. Arrived at pick up only for them to say they didn't have it. We got no call in advance and the staff was unmotivated and dismissive. Had to call U-Haul's 800 number and was on the phone for over an hour. U-haul in general is a mess but there are some good stores. This is not one of them.

I reserved a truck online for a one-way out-of-state move. With that, I was offered a free month's rent with one of their storage units, which I also signed up for. When I showed up with a loaded car to put things in the storage unit, I was told that one wasn't available, despite my "reservation". As it started to turn into the famous rental car scene from Seinfeld, the flippant nature with which they seemed to approach reservations led me to ask if I actually had a truck reserved for my move two weeks later. They did not. So I cancelled my meaningless reservations and went with the competition.

I cleaned the trailer which was already clean for the most part anyways, when I dropped it off, they said they would take care of the check-in and said that I could go on my way and that everything looks good. Then when I got my bill I noticed they had charged me $15 for the cleaning fee after I had again cleaned it. They were on their phone when I arrived for check-in and it seemed like they just processed the cleaning fee just to check off a box and that is quite frustrating when the total bill was $45 would’ve been $30 if I didn’t have to pay the cleaning fee. 10 out of 10 would not recommend this location because they seem to not really personally care about you.

I came in this afternoon for a week+ in-advance PICKUP order for some boxes and tape and such. It’s pouring down rain in this Uhaul place is expecting me to glance off their unorganized list on a computer screen (printer was down) and also hunt down everything for the pickup order in the store. It isn’t just ready to go. Last time I checked that’s how pickup orders are done— “Our most popular items are available for pickup same-day! Just choose "Pick up in store" as you add items to your cart. At checkout, select your pickup time and we will have the items on-hand when you come into U-Haul…”but that is not the case here, so be aware. If I wanted to go shopping I would have stuck to a typical retail store and not ordered in-advance. So I told the guy at the computer that I don’t have time for this especially not in a thunderstorm and that I’m gonna go home and print the list myself so *I* can check it off and make sure I got everything… because when he started to help he was grabbing the wrong size stuff anyway. Wasted time.

I’d give it a zero if i could for how long it took to get our truck that was reserved. An HOUR is extremely unacceptable. Why would you not have more than 1 person working on the weekend when most people move?!?!?

So I made 3 separate reservations two months prior to the date I needed them . Only then was I contacted the DAY BEFORE my pick up that only one of the 3 vans requested would be available and to be told by the Regional Reservation lady that I could go myself to 2 other cities to retrieve the other ones. And then while picking up the second one the reservation was changed without a call to pickup the second one back at my original pick up location and was not a van as requested but a box truck.(van was needed for a/c due to the use was for floral delivery) and the third van was available but nearly an hour away.. The staff at the local store in Auburn was very nice and understanding but it was the staff in the Regional Reservation Department that failed at everything for me and could have cared less of the situation I had been put in. So just know that reserving way in advance will not do any good since they will change it without you knowing at any time. Also, sending a message through the app to the center location doesn’t help. I did that multiple times leading up to my pick up date stating my concerns for the reservations and had no response.

Cancelled on me the first weekend that I booked the truck. This caused me to not be able to move in during my scheduled time. Booked another truck the second weekend through customer service. Booked a one way rental then had them cancel on me again because they “don’t have any one way rentals at this location.” When they finally got me a truck it had a massive leak in the box due to a subpar patch job. I’ve worked in the moving industry for 5+ years and this level of service is unacceptable under any circumstances. Ended up having to drop the truck in Atlanta after they canceled on me and lied multiple times to be able to make my move work and they had the audacity to try and bill me $500+ on top of the rental price.

I made the reservation by phone with the 1-800 U-Haul number and was given this location to pick up a trailer. When I called U-Haul in Opelika the female answered the phone and I informed her that I was on my way to pick up the trailer. This ghetto female then informed me that she did not feel like uploading or putting the trailer onto my truck that it was too cold outside and to come at 2:30 pm. I did inform her no I was not going to come at 2:30 and that I was on my way now. I informed her that we had to move items today and my husband can connect the trailer. Then Ghetto female then asked me the size of the trailer. I informed her that the trailer was a 6 by 12. She then informed us to come on. When we get there ghetto female continue to inform us how it was cold outside and that they would not supposed to connect a trailer. I did inform the ghetto female that I was heading to Utah in Opelika Alabama does not compare when it comes to the weather in Ogden Utah. Normally if you don't want to work then don't expect to get paid. Ghetto female stepped away from around the counter had on a hat that was not covering her entire head a jacket that was not closed and some damn house shoes. Go back to what she said I do not feel like it because it's cold outside put some damn clothes on ghetto. I would not recommend this place to no one. To add. The area is already tight for parking. Ghetto and the guy with her was trying to help a customer park. Ghetto female caused the customer to hit a pole three times. The guy who was terrible too and was an employer finally got in the vehicle and parked the car with no problem. Question, why wasn't that done in the FIRST PLACE. OMG. Now time has passed where two vehicles were blocked for over 15 minutes to include myself. Whoever those two people need to be fired right alongside them two. I don't remember the female name but she had lashes on with tips on her nails with fake diamond designs and weave or a long wig on. The guy was a big guy that seems to go along with whatever the female was spurring out of her mouth.

Im 19 Just moved to the auburn area and i went to go drop off my uhaul and trailer and uhaul told me this location was the only one in town i can drop trailers off at, once i get there me and my girlfriend are met by a guy behind the desk and when we tell him were here to drop off a truck and trailer because we were told its the only one to do both at and he snaps at me saying “that is absolutely incorrect who told u that” and just kept telling me im wrong mind you i just wanna drop it off and leave and he continues to talk down to us and telling us how theres other places we can go to. I just ended up leaving but i wanted it to be known that an employee should never talk down to a customer just because the customer is younger

Initially worked with Gabriel to determine the best hitch for our needs. Scheduled an appointment and parts were ordered to use in the installation. Gabriel did a good job, was very knowledgeable, professional, and customer service oriented. To complete the installation, Noah stepped up and did a most outstanding job to insure the installation was done right. Thank you both! ?

Well let’s start with the weird fuel level, 3/4ths tank is an easy way to manipulate people into spending an extra 15-20$ because you can’t just fill it up you would lose money so you try to line it up perfect and oh dear, I was off by 2 gallons when It was maybe a mm off the exact 3/4th tank, charged 10$ for 2 gallons in a town where it’s $2.75 a gallonSecondly I was threatened to be charged another day because I was stuck on the highway at 5pm rush hour and when I tried to call and explain they said “if you don’t bring it in soon I’ll have to charge you no matter what” while I’m in traffic late by 20 minutes. 20 minutes extra in a moving job is considered immaculate timingLastly and my favorite, the rental charge is $20 a day… plus a 39$ rental fee! So it isn’t and I was given false information. You see I don’t know where $20 a day is a thing because I was charged 59$ plus 59¢ a mileThis place is a rip off, penny nickel and dime you and threaten you all on your most stressful day.I will be contacting corporate for a better explanation
