This is an edit to my previous review about this business. After sending in a review where I felt like things did not go well, I was contacted by the owner from his personal cell phone. We discussed the events that had happened with my son. He was open to listening to my side of the story and did not try to interrupt me or say anything condescending to me or my perception of the events. We worked out something between the two of us and I told him that it really meant a lot that he reached out to me personally. My son has returned to his business and gotten the repairs at a fair price and on time delivery. Auburn student and parents are very satisfied and appreciative of the customer service provided by University Tire and Auto.

A+!!! If I could give more stars, I would. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Josh, and getting some minor work done on my son's car. I couldn't be more pleased! Josh's kind demeanor, courteous and professional attitude, made a mishap a great experience. I will definitely be back, if my son gets into any issues in the next 3 years! Josh and the crew have earned my business the old fashioned way. With great service, a smile, and a handshake. I am grateful for stopping by today. Thanks for an exceptional customer experience!!!

Great local business run with integrity. I had to come in for a nail in tire and they got it fixed up at a great price and didn’t try to upsell on anything.
What was most impressive is, while I was waiting to check out, the owner was talking with a younger female, whom I assume was a college student at the university. She’d come in for what sounded like some sort of sensor or electrical issue. They fixed it for her and refused to accept any payment since it was a quick fix. No “$89 diagnostics” charge like any other business would charge. Watching that go down earned them a customer for life on my end. It’s hard to find a business run with integrity nowadays.

My mom took my Honda Civic in for a braking issue and they ensured the car was safe to drive after a complete brake service. They greeted my mom and helped her when she walked in. I am happy with the quality of work performed.

Was visiting Auburn for Camp War Eagle and sons tire went flat. Took over to University Tire and they fixed it and tried NOT to charge me. We of course tipped them very well but it was extremely nice of them to do this and did it very quickly. Most other places would have certainly tried to sell me a new tire but they were extremely honest. University Tire will certainly be my sons go-to for the nest 4 years when he needs service.

I just found my new go-to tire store in Auburn — University Tire and Auto.
Yesterday, my tire light came on in my Tesla so I started the journey of trying to find a tire shop. I started with a national tire shop who did not have the right equipment to fix my tire. Then, I was referred to another national brand who told me that I would have to replace the tire. My third stop was a local tire shop that does not do any type of repair on Teslas. I finally arrived at University Tire and Auto. Eric was able to get the job done in 15 minutes at a remarkable price. Everyone who worked there seemed very nice, friendly and helpful. It was extremely well organized, clean, and efficient.
Thank you Eric at University Tire and Auto for exceeding my expectations! You will be my first stop in the future.

I came to them with a complaint, but the management was very helpful and nice to work with. They were able to address the issue at a fair price and got me back on the road. I recommend them.

My daughter and I were visiting Auburn. On our way out of town, we ended up with a nail in our tire. Daughter mildly panics, I Google tire shop, and try to teacher her some life skills. Enter: The Tire Shop (Cue the angelic choir). We were greeted by the owner and service manager. They took care of us so fast and we were back on the road to Atlanta. The owner even recommended a spot for dinner (another great story for another review). Those two were free entertainment while we waited, I can tell you that! Kindest people, FULL of energy, nicest/cleanest shop and the best price. Highly recommend. If I ever move to Auburn, they’ll be my go-to (I could live there). In the end, teenager says, “who knew a nail in a tire could end up being an experience like that.” We are from the city. People aren’t as fabulous as what we experienced here. I might be the only person ever thankful for a nail in her tire (and may just sabotage another down the road. ;)

Excellent customer service and Josh remembers his customers. He was able to diagnose my brake problem and get it to the service shop in a timely manner. I will recommend University Tire and Auto to my friends.

If you have a college kid who has an emergency these guys are by far the best. They are honest and work quickly to get things fixed because they know most how important it is for out of town kid's to get a car back. I would give them 6 stars if possible
