Tim Barac is the best transmission man around. Family owned and operated, wife Donna runs the office with an iron hand, son Timmy is there to help out his dad, a good mechanic in his own right. Highly recommend.

Amazing service! So thankful we looked up and found this transmission place as we were passing through Alabama to New Orleans. The transfer case linkage broke while towing our '97 jeep wrangler behind our RV. The owner came out to the parking lot and crawled under our jeep on hot pavement and replaced the broken bushing in less than 1 hour and charged us far less than what we expected. The owner and his wife are angels on our journey out west ? we highly recommend Barac Transmission!!

The quality of work was exceptional and second to none. The speed and delivery of service was the best I've ever encountered. The customer service, friendliness, and care put into their business is the best I've ever encountered. I would give 10 out of 5 stars if possible. The knowledge, skill, and customer service is worth the drive if needing transmission service. Highly recommend!

What a great experience with excellent customer service. Our alternator failed as we were driving from Atlanta to Mobile and it was nearly closing time. They stayed open for us, ordered the part, made the repair and had us on our way in less than an hour.
