Lowes is definitely an alternative store for home improvement needs. Really I like their prices on garden small plants more than nearly any other store around. I I like them For Christmas decor as well. They will load items in your car for you as well so service is good too

I bought a classroom ratchet 5 years ago and they won't honor it because I don't have the receipt I'm fixing to call Craftsman on that's going online so everybody knows that Craftsman is not s*** anymore at Lowe's

I order wood to build a deck on the lowes online feature. Lowe's online sent it to a location over 60 miles away. waited two weeks and you guessed it. they did not deliver the wood on the day they said they wood. Matt the delivery manager just said. it was not pulled the night before. Bad business all the way around. Told me they would deliver it the next day. I called the next morning and they did not pull the wood again. The night supervisor pulled it the next morning. Then to top it off some of the wood I needed was molded. They at least tried to find it at another Lowes on the way and no one had it. Darrius the ASM did not even offer any help or credit for their poor business practice. I will never use Lowe's again! Lowes corporate needs to get the online order system working correctly.

Zero shopping carts for the hundredth time trying to shop there. The few items I needed that were supposedly available according to the website were nowhere to be found. Stop being lazy, gather the carts and stock the shelves.

One star is way to generous. Let me preface this review by saying that I yearly spend in excess of $100,000 in big box home improvement storesevery year for my work. That said, I know where to go for what and know that even in the same brand some locations are better than others. Today I went in to the Bessemer Lowes for two things, plywood and paint. I started with the plywood an almost all of it was unpriced and many areas were in disarray. I needed 30 sheets and about ten were down but more was up high needing a forklift. After finding no one in liumber I asked a cashier, Magogany, who tried to be helpful by calling someone. Fifteen or so minutes later I decided that the lumber guy must have died so I decided to go to the paint department and come back. I kew the color and type but a lady waiting at the counter for her paint smiled and said "Good luck." The call button did not work so a cashier paged someone. The lady next to me said "That's two."! I waited through 32 minutes and two more pages and then told the lady next to me and another man who had arrived that I was leaving because driving ten minutes to Home Depot was faster. I should note that I would have thiught after that many pages a store manager would have got up from his office chair to see what was going on. After arriving at the Fairfield HD i got everything I needed and was gone in 20 minutes. In my business time is money and if it was not for Lowes-Gardendale I would close my Lowes Commercial account because I am done with this location. Oh, one mire thing, the lady and the man that were waiting at Lowes showed up at Home Depot.

we purchased a stainless refrigerator and stove from the Bessemer Lowe's delivered on 04/08/2023. When the delivery men left, we started wiping of the excess tape and wrapping on the new frig as I wiped with the terry cloth and the stainless steel cleaner for appliances I noted the right side had a shine and the other side was dull, to our surprise we had a frig with two different door textures. right side shiny stainless steel and left side was smudge proof fingerprint resistant and the handles on doors were not even. A call to the Bessemer spoke w/manager and indicated would have to wait till Monday. Did not use new frig due to it would have to be returned. On Monday spoke w/young lady who sets up delivery returns, very nice lady. They picked up on 04/12/2023. The lady in deliver returns called me back to indicate, the frig was received and money would be credited back, I inquired about a discount due the inconvenience of being without a frig for over 5 days, she would have to refer to a manager. Well Let me say, I received a call from one of their managers who indicated to me, He received the refrig back and He found nothing wrong with it......so therefore he could not offer me a discount. REALLY...So Basically I guess he has the eyes of Superman and everyone else human eyes, I have a case number with Lowe's customer care center they took notes and documented the case/per the customer care rep that spoked with the Bessemer Lowe's manager who indicated to him that he had a refrigerator to be replaced. DO YOU ACTUALLY THINK I WOULD SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR IN BESSEMER LOWE 'S ??? WITH THAT TYPE OF SERVICE/NOTICE I DID NOT SAY CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The lack of professionalism is astounding. My sister had an interview set for 4:30, she'd gotten there and there hiring manager advised he'd be right back. 5 o clock comes around and the guy hasn't returned, but it took an associate to advise my sister, "oh he's not coming back maybe try tomorrow." I noticed the LACK of staff that you all already have and if this is how potential future employees are treated then I can definitely understand why there weren't many workers. Do better.

This is the absolute worse Lowes in the entire chain I dont care if you live next door to this location Do yourself a favor and drive to the Fultondale location if you just have to purchase anything from a Lowes store It will be worth your time than to put up with this circus of a store

I had a washer delivered today that was damaged and the delivery people stole my old washer hoses that I wanted to keep. I've been trying to get a hold of anyone at this store by calling for over an hour now. I would've purchased from a different Lowe's if I had known this would've been such a hassle.

I know this has to be the worst location of them all. I purchased a washer/dryer set last year in June and I'm just receiving my dryer. I wasn't in such a rush because the dryer I had worked. They said it was because of shipping, but come on now! Then they wanted to give me a refund for the dryer....NO! was the answer.... I purchased a matching set and that's what I expect to get. Neither the less I finally got my dryer. Now let's go to customer service. I've never witnessed anything like this type of service. No one ever picks up the phone and when they do they can't help, put you on hold forever and still return to the phone with no answers and I think it's even worse in the store. Corporate office needs to come in and revamp this entire store..... Lowe's let do better please!!!!
