“Fantastic group of guys here! They definitely went above and beyond to get us financed AND to make sure we had all the equipment we needed!
10/10 would definitely recommend!”
“The woman who answered the phone was very nice. I'm assuming she is part owner or related by marriage or immediate family, because the man who changed the tire said that the family owned the whole strip. One with a wrecker service. The other with traveling mechanic repair for cars another who drives to broken down 18 wheelers and other diseases vehicles. Then they have a tire shop ,a mechanic shop. And I believe repair or sell rims, tractors and other things. Was a little more expensive than the other 7 places we have used by abour21 dollars for a 205/65/15 inch tire. Cost was about 120.00 well 116.58 when all the other shops wenpay 85 to 95 dollars. Bur would use them again because of their customer treatment and friendliness. Also was in and out in 10 minutes with 1 new tire.”
“July, 2025. On the way back home to Iowa from Florida (on a Saturday), my transmission in my 2019 Lincoln Navigator decided to give out on me near Clanton, Alabama. I pulled off the road, had a local mobile mechanic take a look and he advised not to keep driving my car until I had the transmission looked at. I limped the car into town, and took an hour pity party before I started calling around to see who I could get to look at my car. Mind you, Clanton is 40 miles from Montgomery, and about 50 miles from Birmingham, so not a lot of local choices. However, I called Kenny Robbins Transmission, and Kenny actually answered the phone. He told me he was familiar with the type of transmission on my car, and if I had it towed out, he would take a look on Sunday and get back to me with what the problem was. It ended up I needed a reman transmission. Kenny and his staff were able to work with my warranty company (always get the extended warranty) directly to get approval for the work, and while it took a couple days, he was able to fix it and deliver it back to me in Clanton. We immediately jumped in and drove the 1000 miles back to Iowa, with no further problems. Really appreciate the great work and extra mile by Kenny and his staff. Highly recommend for any transmission trouble you may have. Thanks, Kenny”
“We were in a very bad car accident on our way to Destin. The driver of Mark's Towing was at the scene shortly after our accident. He helped us get in the truck to take us down and wait for a ride to get a rental car. He cleaned up all of the mess. As we walked in Mark's Tow center, was greeted by a couple of ladies and they took very good care of us. One of the associates offered to take us to get a rental car but I had already called my sister for a ride since she lived 45 minutes away and we were 3 hours away from home.. We are very thankful for the caring and concern of their staff.”
“I noticed problems with my truck ('95 F150) and just happened to pull over on the road that led to Tex and his shop. I saw their shop on the map, so I drove a half mile and pulled into their drive. They immediately looked at my truck and diagnosed the problem. They drove me to a hotel in town while they waited to get the parts when the store opened the next day. The next day they picked me up from town and had everything ready to go. They found additional problems and had them fixed.
Tex properly diagnosed a problem created by the previous mechanic simply by listening to what I told him about the problem and what the previous mechanic had done. Out of curiosity, I got the opinion of an urban shop (they actually inspected the truck) and they wanted $3,500 to replace the fuel injectors, which were absolutely not the problem. Thanks to Tex, I was able to fix the additional problem myself in 20 minutes after ordering the $70 part.
This backyard shop is probably the best shop you can find, if you can find it. As a traveling horseman that has seen a lifetime's worth of vehicle troubles, I stand by Tex and his shop.”
