The worst shopping experience I have ever had, hateful, arrogant, zero friendliness, zero customer service, it bothers them to have to talk and if they speak to them in Spanish it is worse. An URGENT change of employees.

I think the employees in this store are racist against black people. All the workers I saw were Hispanic and 99% of the customers were Hispanic. Coincidentally I (a black person) was the only one approached by a very rude worker who was apparently annoyed that I was going through the clothes looking for the correct size. She came over in an aggressive way with a loud sigh and asked if I needed help. I told her no, she then proceeded to fold the pile of clothes I was going through right next to me (this is a small space we’re in so it was obvious she was mad that I messed up her perfectly folded clothes) I tried to squeeze past her to look at another set and she told me she could get what I was looking for but not in a nice friendly customer service way , in a hostile tone. Meanwhile other shoppers were going through clothes with no issue. Again I said no. Complained to the cashier but she said absolutely nothing and honestly they looked the same age and are probably friends. That girl needs another job ASAP and it should not deal with customers. She’s probably cost that store money from offended (black)customers. I was going to let it go but when I told my teenaged son, he said the exact same thing happened to him earlier this week at the same store, so definitely not an isolated incident.

Alot of workers. One girl was on her phone and in the way while I was trying to look at the jeans but cashier was nice and other staff was OK.

The worst store ever! The store manager and the employees there are very arrogant! We purchased a tshirt in Texas and the size said Medium but it was Small. So we came to the store in Birmingham to exchange it. The store in Texas did not give me a receipt and told me that they would send it to me by email, which they did not!When we tried to return it they said they don’t do it without the receipt. They asked us to call the customer service, which we did. Customer service told us that we should be allowed to return an item without the receipt and that they would talk to the store manager to inform her about it. The store manager refused to do so and said that they would have to call the store. The customer service called the store and the manager would not answer the call. So we left the store frustrated and annoyed.John at the service center helped me get a receipt by mail. So we went there again and this time they said that it was past 60 days and they would allow us to exchange for a clearance item which was $6.95. I bought the shirt for $32.95.They were rude and arrogant both the times. Not at all helpful and spoke to us with a lot of attitude. I would never recommend this store to anyone!

Maybe just overreacting. But I A Black Man came in to shop and take advantage of the sale. I was not greeted and did not feel the hospitality. But only a couple of seconds later the family that walked (not black) in was greeted and told about the sale. It’s weird because they clerk was of minority descent. Needless to say I did not want to shop any longer.

Aeropastale clothing is great but customer service is the worse! I ordered several pairs of jeans from them. However, I had to send 4 pairs back because I lost weight and the jeans were now too big. I received my email that they received my return. I reviewed it and noticed they only processed 3 pairs! I took pictures of all the jeans and tags I returned. So I called customer service explain what was goin on. The invoice was confusing so I had no idea which jeans they didn’t process and the rep didn’t seem the least bit concerned either! They had no problem refunding the amount but they made sure they refunded me for the lowest priced jeans! I later figured out the correct pair and they cost more!! Then they had the audacity to charge me AGAIN by deducting from my refund for a prepaid shipping label that they already deducted from the FIRST REFUND!! I will be calling back again for another refund!! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN IF IT INVOLVES RETURNING A PURCHASE THROUGH THE MAIL.

Great deals amazing staff. Stopped here to exchange items and I was given great fashion advice. My teenage daughter was ecstatic about the 60% off sale. Lots of clearance items to choose from around the time we shopped. We recieved great value for out money. Also the associates were all very helpful and extremely engaging without being overbearing or watchful. The exchange was delightful.
