I shop here because it's close to a down home store. They normally have good seafood and they are the beef people. Yesterday I wanted a steak and it was on sale and so was the sweet potatoes. Today I remembered the wings were priced right so I returned for some of those. The butter was a little high but I found some flaky biscuits on sale so it balances out. Needed some help at the register so a clerk helped me out. The employees here are always helpful so it keeps the atmosphere nice

The best meat selection in town. Pharmacy staff is fantastic and patient. They are doing double duty these days due to the pandemic - vaccines, boosters, flu shots - all on top of regular Pharmacy duties. Store is tidy, produce is fresh, and the inventory is well stocked. My only grievance is that for BOGO you actually have to buy two to get the deal. Amazing hot bar selection. The worker shortage has impacted them, but I am so grateful and patient with those that are helping me feed my family, like grocery workers!

Absolutely terrible service at the checkout numerous times! If your pet is zero I would give them a zero. Mean-spirited, rude, self entitled, and not customer friendly at all! Really sad that I will go out of my way to get groceries rather than go to this grocery store near my house!

These guys have fewer green / organic / grass fed / healthy / quality options than we would l like, even compared to Publix around the corner but they do have the best hot food bar that I've ever seen in a grocery store. Most importantly, in the time of carona virus, they make me feel safe. I feel much more confident that they are taking steps to keep things clean and keeping up with safety protocols. This is why we've begun to prefer shopping at this Winn Dixie to shopping at the public next door.

My brother in law is a pharmacist here at their pharmacy. I switched all my prescriptions over to him during the current crisis and he has been doing our groceries after work here. All the food he brings home is fresh and of good quality. Please continue to come to this place but not if you're sick! Essential employees have families at home and we need to be mindful of the rules so we can protect them and their loved ones. ie my brother in law has a pregnant wife at home, a toddler, a mother 65 plus of age, and in laws in the same boat. When you do come, stay 6 feet away from everyone, don't hoard because they get shipments twice a week, don't touch everything only the things you need and use sanitizer when you come in and leave. I heard they're putting in plexi glass/sneeze guards to protect employees but I wish they didn't wait so long.

4.5 star rating should be a thing ...... This is probably my favorite grocery store to shop at. I love the location and just the overall layout of the store . At this location there is a deli where you can get a great hot meal.(meat and two) Also they have a wing bar , chicken fingers , and prepared meals like chicken pot pie , 8 piece fried chicken and sometimes slabs of ribs. A lot of options when you just wanna grab and go! And all priced reasonably so it's easy to feed a family. Clean store with helpful/friendly staff. I've never had a bad experience here. I will say that one cashier bagged my stuff rather odd . Placing non perishable and perishables in the same bag , but that's not a deal breaker. I think he was probably new because I've never seen him there before. He was a very courteous young man! With their rewards program I'm able to save more and get more for my money. Points earned can be used to get free groceries!

This store doesn't carry cheese cloth, which is ridiculous. I asked three employees where it was (every market carries this item) and nobody was able to help me nor seemed to care. After the third attempt I gave up. I will go buy it and everything else at a different grocery store from now on.

This is a very nice store. They have great produce and it's always organized and clean. They also have great deals! If you get the free Winn Dixie card there are so many buy one get one free or similar sales that you can get and it's on major items! They are never very crowded so I go here when I need something quick too.

I waited twenty minutes for someone to help me with a money order. When someone did finally come and help me, she didn't even apologize for my wait. She actually didn't say a word to me. She just went right into doing the order. That's just some horrible customer service.

I'm changing my review because WD (the entire chain) has donated 100% of July 4th profits to veterans the last 3 years...and thus is where I shop for all my food

"Allow me to lace these lyrical duches in your bushes, Who rock grooves and make moves with all the mommies? The back of the club, sippin Moet, is where you'll find me, The back of the club, mackin hoes, my crew's behind me..." -Notorious BIG's "Big Poppa" Similarly to what Biggie said, you can find the Moet in the back of the Winn-Dixie. For real. In need of that bubbly, my homie Will B suggested we visit this local grocery store chain. Despite not having enough time to peruse the aisles like a crazy person (because I seriously have a huge crush on grocery stores) we b-lined it to their fairly robust wine selection that spanned the back-left corner of their store. Chardonnays, Pinots, Merlots -- they had them all! And then in the very corner, there are the Moets. If your height falls under seven feet, you'll have to request the assistance of a staff member to retrieve your Moet. It's pricier, obviously, and they make it a bit more difficult to obtain for good reason. From what I remember, they carry three, maybe four, flavors. I asked for their apricot Moet, because... why the hell not? I later looked at the prices of Moet at other grocery stores, once I returned to Atlanta the next day, and Winn-Dixie sold it for ten dollars-ish cheaper. For real, to be exported from France this is pretty affordable, and I would've never known to visit this establishment if it wasn't for my homie. Other tidbits: -It's incredibly clean. -Produce section was on fleek. Very niicccccceeeee. (Borat voice.) -Ftaff there are very friendly. -Complimentary WiFi and coffee. If, for whatever reason, I find myself back in Birmingham and in need of champagne, I'll gladly consider returning to Winn-Dixie. Holla!
