This place is tiny but delicious! The grits and sweet tea were the best I've had. We were passing through looking for a place to have some breakfast and this was only 3 minutes off of I-20. I highly recommend.

Haven't even tried the food but I'm already disappointed. Did not get any help with the menu. Pointed out several items that I wanted and was told they are all unavailable. Basically no choice of what you want. I understand this is a little hole in the wall, but at least explain the menu if you're only going to have 4-5 items available on a menu with more than 50 items. Also I've been waiting for 30 minutes for one sandwich and onion rings. Haven't had anyone tell me it'll be done soon, or sorry, nothing. Disappointed because it smelled so good when I went inside.Update. Just got my food. No good.

My daughter and I were passing through to visit my cousin's farm. We met at the Boligee Cafe and were greeted by fine folks and delicious burgers. We heard how the restaurant was rebuilt by the community after a devastating fire. Feels like home.
