Swift-Coles Historic Home is a beautiful and unique historic home and wedding venue, described as a wonderful little gem of southern history. The exterior, home, and setting are stunning, with beautiful trees and landscape providing an amazing backdrop. It is a great place for a perfect wedding, holiday, or special event. The event planning service is highly recommended for understanding a vision and transforming it. However, the gates are sometimes locked and it is not always open to the public, with only exterior viewing possible at those times.

My review is on the exterior appearance of the building and grounds only, not the venue service. The home and setting was beautiful from the outside but the gates were locked and no one was present. While we were there several other people stopped and reported they have also tried to view with the same result.
