Will not accept dogs that they place back into the rescue if there are issues. I have friends that adopted from them and the dog attacked their smaller dog. They contacted a New Leash for help with rehoming and were turned down. Doesn't matter how many dogs you place, if the placements fail, how successful are you?

I had a really bad experience at the cove area location. I had to unfortunately bring back the kitten I adopted, because my dogs did not take well to her at all. I brought her back to the cove location. Upon arrival, no one was at the front, I sat in the couch and eventually a lady asked me from her office if I needed help. And, I explained the situation. She then said, “I am in the middle of orienting these new people, I will get to you after that”. I then explained to her that I needed to know if I could return her to this location (because I had originally adopted from the Madison location, but lived closer to this one) because they closed at 4, and it was 3:00pm. She then said “ok, I am going to finish this orientation, it won’t take that long, and then I’ll help you”. She continued her orientation for 15-20 minutes. Finally, the new employees left, and she was walking out to me. She then got a phone call from someone. She answered this and talked to this person for 5 minutes, remember I’m still waiting. She finally gets off the phone and looks up this little kitten to see if I could return her here. She says I can. I then ask if I could get my money back for what I paid for her. I have just paid for this kitten 1 hour ago. I JUST got her. She says, “not typically”. Thankfully I had already been texting with the Madison location manager, Denise (who is the sweetest lady ever) and she’s already told me I could get my money back. I show this lady my texts with her, and she hesitatingly said I could have my money back. I’m the customer right? Why was I the last person she helped. Shouldn’t I have been the most important priority of things to do in this situation? I honestly was so baffled.

They don’t take in any animals in need expect for dogs from the pound that can’t be adopted usually due to them being aggressive. Their adoption prices are ridiculous and the whole process is insane. Maybe focus on taking in animals YOU adopted out and animals that actually have a chance. The shelters and rescues are overrun in this state because they are irresponsibly ran

There is no other place I would ever adopt a pet! We've gotten 3 of our 4 from here and they have all been healthy, well mannered and amazing.
Our sweet angel Potato passed away and they have been so kind to let us barge into the new life saving center and snuggle the babies. We ended up finding our missing piece there and tale him home tomorrow.
I seriously cannot thank them enough for all they do!
