  What a great place. The teachers are the best, they treat the kids just as if they were their own kids. Every time I have been there, the kids seemed so happy along with the teachers. The teachers are always upbeat and smiling and they all seem to love their jobs. I would highly recommend this place for your only childs daycare.

  It's so disappointing with how management will bully and allow other employees to bully someone for getting sick and needing to go to the doctor. It's absolutely disgusting wanting an employee or child to come in sick to get everyone else sick. I am so sorry to the employee who was forced to throw up in a trashcan in front of the children and get zero bathroom breaks.
  Sad that these "adults" are petty and childish..
  I really think the owners need to contact past employees.

  If I had a chance to talk to the owners of this facility, I would in a heartbeat. It's sad that I have proof that this daycare does not treat their employees right and they talk very badly about some of those kids. They lie to parents about their kids. Teachers saying otherwise, don't want to let the director down but if anyone notices, take a look at their history, they don't do well at keeping employees around because they get tired of being treated badly.

  I will not recommend until the owners know the truth.

  Working for this daycare has been so amazing. The teachers and the owners and even our directors have been so amazing to me. Anytime I’ve had to be off due to unexpected illnesses or a death in the family they have gone out of their way to make it possible. They’ve worked with me when I’ve had personal issues outside of here and made me feel like I have a family here too. That all being said, it’s come to my attention that someone has spread false information about this place and I can’t let it go. I come in here every day and see the kids eyes and face light up when their teachers walk in or I’ve seen some cry because they don’t want to leave. These ladies put their heart and soul into these kids and working together as a team to help one another with doctors orders, bathroom breaks, or unforeseen illnesses. We have each others back and we work with each other and stay longer than we need to to make sure our teachers get the rest and time off they need. We will sometimes work over time so said teachers can be out and take care of themselves. I love this center and I love working for these people. I love the parents and children. We have some amazing parents and kids and I 100% can guarantee your kids will be taken care of and loved here as if they were ours. Every teacher Ive encountered past and present has put their heart into the kids they take care of and this place. We do go above and beyond for this place and we absolutely love it. If it weren’t for this daycare I’d be working for someone who didn’t care about their teachers and paid us horribly. Coming from somewhere that didn’t care to a place that did has been a complete life changer for me.

  It was brought to my attention that an unsavory and quite frankly untrue review was posted about this lovely place and so I figured I would offer my experience. 10 years ago I began working for Appletree and I brought my daughter here. I left for a little while after a year and the atmosphere was so welcoming and loving I wound up coming back because there’s just no place like it. This is the only childcare facility that I would bring my children to even if I didn’t work here because I know they will be loved, taken care of, and protected. I have made lasting friendships with many of the women who have worked here past and present, and most of the staff is like family to me now. They have gone above and beyond for me and both of my girls, and my girls look at this place like their home away from home. As someone who has been at this place long term and had many different life changes I can say with full confidence that the staff, management, and owners go above and beyond for myself and the other teachers there.
  Childcare is a very high responsibility job. It takes people who really genuinely care about families and kids and who understand that you can’t just take off whenever, especially because childcare in Alabama has had trouble staffing since Covid. Even with that being said I KNOW that arrangements were made several times for employees to have days off that were requested and EVERYONE went above and beyond to help ensure that that happened. As far as teachers being at work sick, I know for a fact that this person was sent home from work early on the day she was sick. It’s not always right at that exact moment but we cannot leave a classroom without a teacher nor can we legally cram them in a room where the teacher is out of ratio. Everyone who is employed at this facility has been explained this in detail. I had a family member pick my children up from school that day to cover that teacher’s classroom, as I have multiples times. I can personally say that every person in that place is given plenty of restroom breaks, as I have had to ask for them myself. I’m not coming on here to bash this person, I know they have their own problems going on as we all do. And not everyone is going to agree all the time, that’s fine. Conflict happens when you work closely with people for a long amount of times, I know this personally.
  I just think it’s really sad and disappointing that people will go out of their way and lie about a place of business, completely omitting details about the way that they treated the people at said business for a chance to cause problems and stir things up.When someone does that are they considering the livelihoods of their coworkers and their children? Some of whom really went out of their way to help this person and help them with better opportunity with FREE childcare for their child, mind you. No, childcare in general does not pay a lot. This person was told that before even being employed here and agreeing to whatever wage they were paid.
  I will say there is a big difference between bullying and people being frustrated that they are CONSTANTLY working over and cancelling plans to cover one person not showing up. Sure, they don’t have to do that but what’s the alternative? The classroom shutting down and those parents having to find alternate childcare for their kids?
  To try and say that people shouldn’t bring their child here is hurtful and it’s misinformation. It’s honestly a slap in the face to the women who come in every single day and devote their lives to make sure these kids are loved and taken care of. I appreciate these women for how they have cared for my babies and everyone else’s. I could not recommend Appletree enough to parents. Childcare can be daunting and quite frankly scary for a new parent trusting their children to people they don’t know very well. Nothing warms my heart more than parents telling us how happy they are that their kids are happy to come here, and the tons of school kids that prefer to come back here on their school breaks because

  I am disgusted with the way the teachers and "management" at this daycare has treated one of their nicest teachers. Refusing to give breaks to go to the restroom, allowing the teacher to remain in class to vomit in a trash can in front of the children, and ignoring Dr. orders for the teacher to stay home and rest by pressuring her to be there when she is sick. On top of that, allowing the other staff members in a group chat to bully the teacher for taking a sick day ordered by her Dr. (There are screenshots to prove the unnecessary remarks and harassment in the group chat) This is how they treat a teacher who has gone above and beyond for the daycare, the children, and even the parents of those children, all for the measly 10/hr she is obviously worth way more than. I pay my kids more than that per hr to do chores. Also, shame on you for adjusting time to avoid paying her overtime. Is it really worth it to avoid paying for 30 minutes here and there? I really hope people see this before putting their children in this place, because it's far from professional.

  Apple Tree CDC has the most loving and caring staff. The Director Mrs Pat and the Assistant Director Ms Courtney provide fantastic customer service and outstanding management to the staff. I couldn't be more pleased with the level of care provided to my daughter and myself as a member of the team. Highly recommend to anyone looking for affordable, quality childcare and/or for a rewarding place of employment where you are made to feel like family!

  We LOVE Apple Tree! We have 2 girls that attend and will be sending #3 there as well. All of the ladies are wonderful with our kids and everyone else’s I’ve witnessed them interact with.They genuinely love and care for the children as their own family and my girls have both blossomed there. It’s clear the teachers love their jobs and in turn my kids are getting to learn play and grow in a comfortable happy and fun environment! Such a win win! ❤️?

  My husband and I visited multiple daycares for our infant to attend and Appletree was our absolute favorite we visited. They are super clean and the kids there seemed to love their teachers and were having a fun time. We picked here for our son to go and haven't regretted! The teachers are very loving to my son and the communication is on point. I couldn't ask for a better place to send my son. 100% recommend this daycare for anyone looking for a safe, clean and fun place to send their children!

  My child has absolutely thrived at this wonderful daycare center!!! It is the cleanest I've seen, and the teachers are so nice and amazing! Management is above par, and always onsite. The pricing is by far the best we've seen. They do pictures every season and parties every holiday! My child has LOVED being there. Will be sorry to leave when she starts school!

  We truly love Apple Tree & moving my son was a very hard decision but with us relocating to TN it's just too far out of the way. Apple Tree staff have always been amazing & C has gone there since he was 11 weeks old. Julie, Paige, Pat & Brittney are amazing and have always treated him like their own. I highly recommend Apple Tree any day!
