My team and I are trying very hard to keep it stocked and the aisles as clear as possible. We have some of the friendlier crews in the area in my opinion. I'm sorry some of the reviews on here are not as good as I would like and just hope the ones who haven't been in lately give us another chance. I or any of the managers will gladly listen to any one if given the chance to make it a better shopping experience. Thanks for shopping with us.

Even though it's usually a very busy place the Assistant Managers makes you feel at home and welcome. Everyone is very helpful and they all work very hard to keep lots of stock.

I like this particular DG on hwy 72 in Alabama..they are always nice.The one's in Trenton Georgia tho..they are jerks. To me anyway.

I AM WORSE THAN DISAPPOINTED - BUT NOT SURPRISED AT ALL - THAT THE DOLLAR GENERAL ON SMITH RD- TRENTON, GA HAS LOST ONE OF THE BEST MANAGERS ( HAS BEEN THERE FOR YEARS) BECAUSE, AS A CORPORATION- THEY OPT TO GIVE THEIR MANAGERS - FOR EXAMPLE- EXACTLY FOR THIS STORE - I KNOW FOR A FACT - 88 HOURS TO WORK "ALL" THE EMPLOYEES FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK- SO, WHEN YOU PUT THIS INTO ACTION- IN REAL - IF YOU HAVE 1 OTHER FULL TIME EMPLOYEE - (40 HOURS) - BESIDES , YOURSELF AS THE MANAGER- IF IN A PERFECT LIFE - BUT NOT AT ANY AND I MEAN ANY DOLLAR GENERAL- (ACTUALLY WORKED 40 HOURS ) BUT, IN ORDER TO KEEP ANY DOLLAR GENERAL FROM LOOKING LIKE A TORNADO ? HASNT COME THROUGH IT EVERY SINGLE DAY, AND BOXES STACKED TO THE CEILING ON EVERY AISLE- MANAGERS WORK LIKE 60- 70 HOURS A WEEK ( SALARY OF COURSE- BASED ON 40 HOURS) BUT THAT LEAVES 8 WHOLE HOURS FOR A PART TIME PERSON YOU WILL HARDLY NEVER FIND- FROM A CORPORATION THAT IS ON EVERY SINGLE CORNER IN THE USA - #WOW #WOW- HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH IT THESE DAYS AND TIMES???

This is the WORST Dollar General EVER! The store is an absolute mess. There are stock carts in pretty much every aisle making nearly impossible to maneuver your cart through. You are certain to bump into cards and displays. If you're in a wheelchair or injured in any way this store is NOT a good choice for you, you are very likely to get hurt worse. The clutter is a lawsuit waiting to happen and has to be a fire hazard. The cashiers, which are usually friendly, do allow the line to get backed up halfway to the back of the store or longer and will never open then other register. Then other workers are usually standing in the break room (which is right by the registers) eating, talking, not stocking since the carts are just rolled out and left in the aisles, and watching one cashier try to handle ALL customers by their self, and will never help unless forced which then causes them to huffy. On side note, if you go here and are in a wheelchair please be careful because the whole parking lot is downhill, and don't forget the cluttered aisles you have to maneuver around.
