“I SHOP, THEREFOR I AM. Little did I know that there was a Piggly Wiggly closer to my apt. I have been going to the one in Homewood thinking that it was the closest location. Now that I have been to both locations I feel as though I can compare and contrast them both. This one is very large and more spread out as the other one is a bit smaller. I have seen some other reviews highlighting the renovations that have been done to this location. Though I cannot speak on what it looked like in the past, I can comment on how amazing it looks now. Everything has a space and an aisle that it belongs in. The staff is very nice and are helpful. I wanted to see if this location had the Milo's tea that the other location has. As the other location has the extra sweet version, but I managed to find one of the extra sweet ones here and I of course scooped it. The prices are very good here and there is always some sort of special going on. I even noticed a whole arrangement for Christmas/holiday candy which I needed to keep myself away from. Overall, I am very happy to know there is a closer location to my place. I will most defiantly be returning.”
“This location is right across the way from my job so bonus points for the convenience factor! I absolutely love their candy section - lots more variety than their competitors in the area! The store is pretty neat and clean; everything seems to be arranged so that things are easy to find. I really appreciate the sales Walgreens have and most importantly, the staff is always so warm and I'm greeted with smiles ! Despite sometimes things being a little overpriced, I still prefer Walgreens over Walmart. I like bein able to run in and out without wasting a lot of time. Update: I frequent here weekly it seems. I always receive good service!”
“This pharmacy is kind of hit or miss as to whether or not your prescriptions will be ready. I'd say it's about 80/20 with them being ready. I strongly believe that the fault causing the inconsistency lies in their mobile app. Sometimes the refill requests submitted via the app don't actually get pushed through to the pharmacy (per the pharmacy technician we spoke to last time). Not really sure why that is or how it happens, but they seem to just get lost in the ether. *shrug* Other times the app will show that you have prescriptions ready to pick up, but you get to the pharmacy and they're not there. This is really unfortunate, because the easy refill requests not requiring you to actually call and wait half an hour on hold to request your medications one at a time is half the incentive to use a chain pharmacy like Walgreens. On a side note, I LOVE going inside the store to shop after a major holiday. All of the holiday merch gets HEAVILY discounted. Such a steal!”
“I shop here because it's close to a down home store. They normally have good seafood and they are the beef people. Yesterday I wanted a steak and it was on sale and so was the sweet potatoes. Today I remembered the wings were priced right so I returned for some of those. The butter was a little high but I found some flaky biscuits on sale so it balances out. Needed some help at the register so a clerk helped me out. The employees here are always helpful so it keeps the atmosphere nice”

“Walmart is still the almost everything store. Certain items I strictly go here for because of either price or availability. Loved the early senior shopping hours during the pandemic. Still like to come early to beat the crowd. If you know what you want, you can look it up on the app and go straight to the aisle your items are own. The makes the experience nice. Still a GoTo place”
“I was visiting from out of town and found myself in need of some groceries. I could not find the store's parking lot, but I am sure that there was one. I did find metered street parking, that was free after 5PM and it was nit too far of a walk. The store is organized and it may be just me, but the prices seemed a bit high than I am use to at other Publix stores. The store was also clean and they have a security guard posted on site. The staff was not memorable during my visit. They were not rude or mean and they were not super friendly and welcoming. They just did their job. This grocery store has a monopoly on people needing groceries downtown. Outside of here, there are not many options. I think a 3.5 star rating is more appropriate, but that is not an option and it is closer to a 4 than a 3 in my opinion, so that is what I went with.”

“Ive been banking with regions since 95 & I've never been to this particular location although I only came through the drive thru on my visit the tellers were extremely pleasant and polite I was greeted with a smile and ended with a enjoy my day! That means a lot considering how many people just move in to the next person like who's next with no hospitality! Thanks guys!”
