Bathroom here is not for some people I guess. Avoid this place. I was told the rest room was for customers only which I was going to buy something and then she said it was put of order....which is it? Or is it something else.....

They might not have exactly what you're looking for, but in a pinch a temporary low priced substitute is usually an option. I was very happy to see they have acrylic paints, brushes and stretched canvas on wooden frames for a really good deal comparatively to what I've found online in the sizes they carry.
......and I save money on snackie stuff if applicable. Lol
Just not a huge fan of a few of their brand products food wise.
One of the cashiers is very kind and engages well with all her customers. I just can't remember her name.

So I clip all the coupons. It's not my fault your stupid system is slow. I never have a problem with any other stores and I do the same thing. The lady was rude because it was taking so long. Won't go back to this location and maybe get better software.

Great customer service. Pricier than in my hometown but found good deals on alternative options. Found some great body wash I wouldn't expect to find here and they had everything I needed to purchase which was awesome. Very professional and friendly checkout.

So a worker sees me at the register and walks into the office where they remain for a while. The one person trying to stock the entire store alone had to come to the register. Do better!

They need help... Prices are out of date.... NOT ON JUST SALE ITEMS BUT EVERYDAY ITEMS AS WELL... There are prices in there 6 mos old at least on items... Self checkout has NOT worked in months... There are items piled all over it... Stocking is awful... Garbage and empty boxes and genèral chaos all over store... This is one of the worst stores I've been in a long time... Most are not too good anyway, but this one was ridiculous!

I have never been so frustrated with Dollar General in my life!!! Not just this one in particular but several!!! I go in DG store # 22418, cashier named DJ....to kill some time,. I'm going through some clearance items that are marked 50% off, I have a buggy full and I get up to the register to pay. Cashier DJ starts ringing up my items, to start with DG should already have a program set for sales to automatically take the 50% off instead of the cashier manually doing it, an item rings up $3.00 and on the DG tag it has $2.50. WHAT!!!! It's ringing up more than the tag but he's not wanting to change it!!! Who wants to pay more for something that's clearly marked, on the original DG tag. I sure don't!!! It's not my fault that the system had a different price. I ask cashier DJ to let me have the item back to get a picture and his reply was he wasn't giving me anything back. I ask for his name and he said it was nunya business....I had to ask the Pepsi cola vendorThese employees are down right rude, disrespectful, hateful, and extremely unprofessional!!! I've had one cuss me out and threaten me and now this all because DG doesn't hire people that are qualified management material, DG doesn't have enough to keep the shelves stocked, and DG doesn't update their prices in their system!! I really don't see how they open a store on every corner with unqualified help!!! Something needs to be done about this!!! I have met with my attorney regarding the first incident and now I'll have to bring up the false advertisement ordeal!!! Good luck to all that try to encounter DG. The store in Shelby, AL, they're shelves are bare and they don't know how to order diet Mt dew!!!
