Our Subaru broke down (dang electronic thermostat!) around 5pm just south of Clinton and we were STUCK in a perilously narrow shoulder on I 65. Billy came out and got our car AND our camper to the Subaru dealer in Montgomery just in time! He saved the day for sure!!

So far so good.. After setting an appointment to find out why my check engine light had come on, we agreed on a time to have the repair done . I was called and informed of the problem and was given a price for the repair I felt it was fair and reasonable. The repair was completed on the same day and I was able to pick it up and get on my way!!

My experience with SDA was awful, I was played a fool right in my face by the tow truck driver & SDA. Thank God SDA didn't have my tire size because they would replaced a tire that could have been plugged. They are all about money & misleading women.
They put my spare on instead of plugging the tire, said it was unrepairable, which was no true. Once I got back home to Montgomery, Tire City plugged my tire with no questions.
Please be careful with them, theirs no integrity.

I was on my way to Pappadeaux in Birmingham 10/22/2025 from Montgomery. I had a tire flat near Clanton on 1-65, AAA sent Emergency Roadside LLC, truck driver name Henry Gibson to assist me. He recommend Southern Dixie Automotive to get my tire checked out to see if it could be repaired or replaced. Henry had mislead me, instead of putting my spare on he towed me. Because he knew I was unfamiliar with car maintenance and didn't know what was going on, especially with all the noise from the interstate being so close to the road.
Bottom line, I didn't need a new tire, only plugged. Thank God, as I said before you didn't have my tire size because you would have scam me out my money for a new tire and all I needed was it to be plugged. You acted like the tire couldn't be plugged & you put my spare on, which Henry could have done that back on 1-65, still waste of money. Tire City in Montgomery plugged it, why you couldn't
The fact is maybe if the lady owner was there she could have told you to have some integrity and not try to rip certain customers off that are blind to fact about car maintenance.
You knew very well that tire could have been plugged. I just hate when people try to play me, especially with a straight face. SAD!!!
I don't have no money to be throwing away!!!

Call in for new tires and alignment. Robert gave me a quote within seconds, very competitive on the pricing so it was a no brainer. Took my f250 that same night and picked it up the next day. The truck feels and drives like brand new. The team at Southern Dixie are efficient and have very competitive prices. I would definitely recommend them and will keep bringing my vehicles to them. We cannot thank Derek and the employees enough. What a wonderful place! Our car broke down on vacation and they were amazing. On top of being amazing Derek drove my family and I home to Tn in his tow truck. Also, he made our little 3 year olds dream come true by getting to ride in the big truck plus going above and beyond to letting her help press buttons and levers to unload our car at the dealership. We are so grateful for your kindness. Thank you so very much. We highly recommend!

Had a tire go flat a few miles away. These people took good care of me. Got me a new tire at a very reasonable price and quickly got me back on the road. Highly recommend, great service.

Was broken down on side of 65 heading south to Florida (radiator failure.)
I called Southern Dixie Auto, they sent a truck to get us The wait was short..Dropped us off at the hotel. They found problems and repaired the truck. We were back on the road by noon ..
I can not thank them enough. They were prompt, professional and very caring. I would recommend them to anyone needing Auto repair.
You guys rock!!!!
Thanks again you all helped take the sting out of a roadside problem.

Thank you Trent, Carl and Robert. I stopped at their shop on my way out of town because my Equinox was making a loud noise. They l99ked at my car right away and replaced a plug that had fallen out. They also didn't even charge me. Thanks so much for your help guys. Queen of the South 271.

I'm a hot shot driver. I destroyed my front brakes and in doing so blew out my F/R tire. Yes, I know what your thinking. I am a dummy. I called a local tow company (Mims wrecker Service, more on them in a few) and they happened to be across the street from Southern Dixie Auto. I called them and they got me in as soon as I walked in. They took care of me and got my truck fixed good as new in about 3 hours from walk in. 2 rotors, 2 sets of pads, 1 caliper, 1 used tire to get me home. Very good people here. I would give 6 stars if I could.
Mims Wrecker Service (leaving a review for them also) towed me in and stored my gooseneck while my truck was being worked on. Damn good people!

I broke down on my way home from Destin on Labor Day. I live in Nashville so this place is around 4.5 hours away. I was sitting in Love’s parking lot in Clanton trying to figure out what I was going to do when one of their drivers approached me and asked what was wrong. They got my truck over to their shop and took great care of me. Everyone at this place is so friendly and got my truck fixed in less than a day and for a good price. They also didn’t try to force any unnecessary repairs on me as well. I highly recommend these lovely people to anyone in need of a car repair!

I had to call them around 9 p.m. in an emergency when my wife had a blown tire while driving on the highway near the shop exit. I spoke with Dana, and she, along with Derrick, immediately stepped in to help. Since I wasn’t there in person, Derrick kept me updated through calls and messages, even sending photos of the process. He did a thorough inspection, noticed that another tire was also unsafe, and made sure everything was taken care of.
They were incredibly kind, professional, and quick to make sure my wife could get back on the road safely. On top of that, the price was excellent.
I couldn’t be more grateful — highly recommend Southern Dixie Automotive for their outstanding service!
