It's very outdated. They don't carry a lot of different brands like other Walmart stores.
It's not very clean. The bathrooms are not clean at all.
You have to stand in line for self check out or with a cashier. That's just ridiculous.

Grocery too small and not a big selection. I usually have to drive to a super Walmart 30 minutes away because this one doesn't have everything I need.

How was great experience has more than most Walmarts. I’ve been to great always here other than other places like I said very big selection of clearance and non-clearance items will be my number one always

Absolutely atrocious work and customer environment. They keep pulling employees away from their assigned apartments. The baby formula, camping supplies, various other necessary items needed for raising a family/ emergency situations. Disorganized as mess, employees/customers are rude but it’s understandable due to the economy and environment. The poor janitor is treated so awful. I just needed to get a pair of Coleman mantles for my Lantern in case of bad weather. Waited over 35 minutes after reaching numerous centers. From a two time military veteran I wish I could give a negative review in the thousands due to it being a multimillion dollar chain in the area. I’d much rather send my business to equal opportunity local facilities that actually support the community and veterans. I saw a line backed up all the way back to the towels section where the tobacco check out line is. Especially after I had my
card tapped/hacked with the last $47 to my name that put me in the Negatives. I’m still waiting on my military benefits to kick in. I have lived here all my life and I’ve seen it just rapidly decay into just….I wouldn’t even describe it as mediocre. I’d rather invest my time and money into a local camping store that has a variety that isn’t locked up behind glass doors and that hasn’t been repacked by a blind hurricane. The self checkouts in my opinion need to go if they are going to be closed nearly all the time. The Ac and fans are not running in the hottest time of the year. I have multiple of friends/family that just find it more of a trouble to spend less if it takes up to 30 minutes for three-four items. With that, I wash my hands of more so the management and franchise than the actual honest to good workers there.

Not a large Walmart, fewer selections and rotten produce. But the positive is you could sit outside and get a show for sure.

I'm not quite sure I have mixed emotions but as for the people that work there absolutely fantastic the store itself can use a little bit more leg room but as for an all in all I guess I can say that this is an okay place to shop

Walmart in Clanton. You would think in Alabama they would scary more of a selection for mosquitoe bites. Generic, Generic, generic products. They push you to buy what they want to sell you. Calamine lotion! I did not want equate products!! Most everything is Generic products in that section. From sprays, ointments to lotions. I suggest if you have poison ivy, oak.... Go to a real pharmacy, not walmart!!! Walmart must be getting one heck of a deal from equate!!! Its about profits I would say!! Just my opinion. Everywhere you turn, generic! Unless it is sodas or makeup.....

Staff are the reason for 4 stars. Without them, this store, with lots of empty shelves would be 2 or 3 stars. Staff is always ready to help.

I usually don't like Walmart in clanton at all. But I bought an ac unit yesterday that did not work. I had to take it back. Well the young man at the service desk whose name was Justin was so very nice and helpful. I wish all their employees were as nice as he was. Thanks so much Justin for all your help!!!
