“I've been a cashier for 3 months here and I'm reading all the reviews and see all the bad reviews and wanted to say we have new staff that are great and we have been putting our all into making it a great store it's clean and well stocked and the doors do not lock until they are supposed too”

“These is my 2nd review of these store, it was cleaner inside, outside still needs work. They was out of stock of items but has stuff in floor that they was stocking but looked like over stock items also sat in floor, even food. The staff spoke and all but hard to explain the "friendly " it was not country friendly, reminds me of when I worked in the northern USA. I will say items I bought matched the price on the shelves. Unlike last review.”

“I first tried to go to my local DG, first store closed due to NO STAFFING. Second store closed for no air. I ended up at this location. I walked into store and this little man who worked there had ran outside and was yelling into a phone about something like a complaint. Then it was time for me to checkout after getting stuck on boxes on the floor everywhere. This same man checked me out and acted rude like I was bothering him. I kindly said hi and he never said hi just looking at me with scorn. I had an issue where I was trying to get internet access to transfer more money from my account to pay because I went over and I couldn't get access unless at door.
rudely told me to move my items into my cart while I was trying to transfer more money from my savings account. I said yes I gladly will. He then told everyone that I was holding up his line. He was just awful from the start. I am a senior citizen and he had a terrible attitude with me. There's much more that happened but I don't have enough room to post the rest. I ended up leaving the store because of his attitude. Update. Review. I have been going to Dollar General in Pell city Cogswell site lately. The most wonderful, helpful ladies that work at that location. Very very pleasant to speak to. My first review still stands but the Pell city Cogswell site deserves a 10 point or more.”

“Employee was very empathetic and help. I came in with 2 kids.. (one strapped to my chest and one having a meltdown in the cart.)Cashier came and helped me out multiple times seeing me struggle even though she had a line. She will dive me to come back in. Great service!!Inventory was low.. but store was clean and service made up for it.”

“Didn't realize how big it was and how many different products they sell there. I liked it me and my wife walked around for about 30 minutes just checking things out. The ladies that worked there were really sweet and the store was clean and products put up not laid out in the aisles.”
