I believe they're really trying to do their best and be the best vet in Cullman county. In my opinion, they are. I do wish they had a 24 hour staff because this county has no emergency veterinarian services. In Cullman, you better hope your pets are good to go on weekends or after usual business hours. Anyway, we've used this place for years and they've done us right. I believe the main doctor's name is Rebecca Sandlin. Very good attitude, very hard working and does a really good job considering how busy the place is.

These are the most loving caring people you will ever meet. God placed them in our lives at the time we needed them, our English Bulldog Sadie was so sick and we needed a Vet to see her immediately and Dr White and Dr Durham along with Abby were there to help us. They saw her or checked on her every day for two weeks. unfortunately she was to sick and we lost her, Dr Durham came to our home after hours and gave her a peaceful passing. We will always be so grateful for her compassion and love to our sweet girl. We miss her so much. I would recommend Compton's Veterinary Hospital to anyone, great Doctors and the staff is awesome. My Frenchton had been throwing up all day and refused to eat. We called about 7:30 on a Saturday night and Dr. White came in without hesitation to take care of our furbaby. I am so grateful and appreciative of Dr. White and Comptons Veterinary Hospital for putting me at ease and taking care of my baby. They have always been very good people to deal with and take my dogs health seriously. They are the best and my dogs will never go anywhere else.

Our old pup was suffering with back issues. We came to the tough decision to put him down. Compton’s was very good, sympathetic and professional. They helped us select the best options for cremation and were with us every step of the way.

Great place to take your animals big or small. Everyone was sweet as pie. Prices are very reasonable, and that's nice bc of everything else being so high right now.
