Passing through, and perhaps through the WRONG city!! Needed a battery but grabbed something else. An old white female with shoulder-length white hair and glasses, coming to the register, took her time arriving (after seeing my BROWN SELF) after announcing she was available. Suddenly she stops to help another customer who was already being helped (takes TWO employees to do ONE job!!).She starts to ring me up, still not making ANY eye contact, and gives me the total. I pay, and she looks away (outside) and hands me my receipt. Says nothing!! So I said, "Thank you! What customer service!" And leave.Racism!! Guess what, we, blacks/browns been here since the beginning and are NOT going anywhere! If you don't like people, RETIRE!I should have walked out.

This is a very busy store location so they sometimes run out of popular items. I found that the best time to shop for the most popular selling items is a day or so after the delivery truck makes the weekly delivery. I'm not positive but I believe Wednesdays is when the truck runs? Sometimes there is a wait in line during peak hours but it usually isn't an excessively long wait. The employees there seem friendly and helpful.***UPDATE***This location is still a very busy store. I don't shop at this location often anymore because I have moved. When I have had the chance to shop here though , I've noticed that the store is pretty well stocked each time I visit. I have also noticed that the employees are just as helpful and friendly if not more so as when I used to shop here regularly. There seems to be even less wait time to check out during peak hours as well.

A little bit messy but it's right after xmas,so they had valentines out and trying to set Easter so I don't think staff could handle the situation

Great Dollar Store with nice employees but never enough lines open for checkout. Always takes so long :(

They need more than one register open at a time. It's ridiculous that lines back up into aisles because they don't have enough lines opened.

I have 5 choices of Dollar Trees - Decatur, Hartselle, and Cullman. This one of my favorites, even on the weekends they seem to be well stocked. To bad they can't be fully staffed, maybe they could check more people out faster and wouldn't have had to raise the prices. The check out clerks are always having to wait on management at the expense of efficiency and customer traffic. I just they wouldn't freak out when I ask them to not put two things in a bag. HATE HATE HATE plastic bags that won't hold what stores sell.

Worst service ever! Apparently you need two people to do the balloons?! We stood in line for about 30 minutes waiting for someone to go to the cashier while they worked the balloons?? Like what in the world Why do you need 2 people to work balloons???

Hello I would just like to post that these people are great and very nice , only thing I would like to say is and I'm sorry to say this but the stores very messy always but that's due to shoppers throwing things down I no but still its messy the waiting lines are so long and I just wonder why the merchandize is not as good of selections as other stores with they had more items thank y god bless
