Called there mobile crisis unit for help with my son could not get a hold of them at all ended up calling hunstvilles mobile crisis unit was told they will reach out to the cullman mobile crisis unit they couldn't get through to them either they recommend bringing him to huntsvilles childern hospital which we did. About 2 hours in the er all of a sudden cullman mobile crisis units started calling and even though we told them the situation and it's all good they continued calling all day even though we were handling the situation. It's like they all of a sudden cared even though they dropped the ball big time.

If you are a person of color go somewhere else. They won't understand anything no matter how clear you speak. Find a therapist that caters to your demographic.

Yeah tbh I have no idea why so many negative reviews, I love my therapist and psychiatrist really cool ppl. I’m starting to think a lot of these reviews come from the mental clinic owned by wellstone. The actual wellstone in Cullman has very nice staff and ppl maybe some ppl are delusional asl and is just spreading hate. Just know you guys do amazing work!

Idk if they dont know how to pick up a phone or what but they NEVER answer my calls to reschedule and when I go in person to do so the front desk ladies blame me for them being too damn lazy to do their job, quite possibly the WORST place to get anything

Why does Wellstone owner only acknowledge the good reviews??? I didn’t have a good experience the one time I went there. I was out of a job and didn’t have insurance. But I never went back. I have seen psychiatrist in other places that treat you better. Also my son had a bad experience also. He has a lot of psychological issues. He was told by one of the therapist he needed to have his kids taken away and be in jail. These people are not supposed to cut you down. I work in the medical field . If you get treated bad here report it. Contact the state medical board.

This place is not going to help you feel better. They give you medication that is too strong and makes you sleep too much. I went in with the clothes I had on. I didn't know that I was going to have to wear the same clothes for 6 days. They have donation closet but only for skinny people. If your bigger your screwed. Slap embarrassing while already stressing is how I felt. They surrounded me with a Haldol shot and lied and told me it was benadryl. Just for speaking my mind. I tried to sign myself out ama but they held me there against my will until after the doctor came back from holiday. It's so boring all day nothing positive to focus on just lay in bed all day depressed. I did not enjoy my experience here and felt worse. I felt better when I finally got home and took my regular medication. I was in withdrawal from antidepressants and thyroid medication because they wouldn't give me them. Bad place

A doctor I worked with previously gave me the number to call and connect with him here; The front desk staff stated they wouldn't connect me with him or leave a message unless I went through a full separate therapist and session with them. The front office attendant was rude and unhelpful, and had a piss poor tone. This is supposed to be a mental health facility??

I had an appointment set and when I came in the receptionist couldn’t find my appointment. I showed her the paper with my appointment and then I was told it was canceled. I told them I didn’t cancel and apparently it’s because I didn’t answer a phone call. I asked what number do they have and they had written my number down wrong. So now I’m having to reschedule after waiting weeks and leaving work early, which is unacceptable. The receptionist had to schedule my appointment with a different doctor just so I can be seen in a timely manner. Very unprofessional to cancel an appointment over a missed phone call, which I never got. I’m already dealing with a lot and it’s stressful enough as it is setting appointments and going to therapy.

Seen some not great reviews. I liked the prompt quick responses. It was my first contact. Got good vibes. Im a Veteran who has been jerked around a a bit with providers. Give them a shot!

My mother came to receive psychiatric help and refill medicine that was prescribed they refused to allow her to see the psychiatrist until she completed addiction therapy actively denying her the psychiatric medication she needed, malpractice pure and simple in my opinion.

There was a worker there will blame you for not wanting your people to come home that worker should have been fired they are most to be there to help them they do not that place is a joke
