Came to Dollar General to purchase last minute groceries after work. The store didn’t close for another 20 minutes. The cashier ( black woman with glasses and straight hair), saw me coming to the door, ran and locked it , and went and hid. This is very unprofessional.
I purposely shop here because the manager is ALWAYS on top of her stuff and keeps her store clean. Leaving a review because I know for a FACT, she would not approve of this behavior. No one made her complete the application. She chose this job. If the store says it closes at 10pm, then that’s what it should be. HIGHLY disappointed, because I know how the manager operates her store and this is not a good reflection on DG, the staff, or the cashier that decided to run and hide from her customer. Customer service is definitely at an all time low - especially when the manager is not in the building . Because again, she DOES NOT condone this behavior.

they had 5 minutes till close we were traveling we had to have some diapers for the baby I ran in they were about to lock the door to ask if we could grab some diapers she said yes however I think we stayed a minute or two maybe 5 minutes after closing cuz we had some other things we need to just grab real quick and the girl in there at the register kept blowing her breath out she was not happy but I was spending money and I spend a lot of money with Dollar general I didn't really appreciate that but we do thank her for letting us come in I'm sure everybody wants to go home and their shift is over I know I do but you don't have to be rude

Alison store manger has brougt this store from trashy to classy. You can tell an immediate big difference when you walk in the door. This store would not be the same if she ever left. I live in different town with a dollar general and drive to this store because of her. Dont ever lose her.

Have done alot of work improving the customer service at this location. They are fixing to remodel the whole store. Adding move refrigerated items. Looking forward to the 'new' store.
