Grande Pointe Apartments is an older, quiet community located on a lake in the heart of the Lake Forest neighborhood, described as a peaceful hidden gem surrounded by trees and nature. The apartments are not cookie-cutter, offering unique layouts, and while they lack modern finishes like granite countertops, they are noted as clean, well-maintained, and having good insulation that keeps electric bills reasonable. The atmosphere is quiet with little to no drama, featuring lots of green areas for walking and being absolutely pet-friendly, though some wish for a bigger dog park. Amenities include valet trash pickup. Reviews on management and service are mixed. Many residents praise the genuine, understanding, and down-to-earth office staff who are quick to react, helpful, and host holiday events. Maintenance is commended for being resourceful and making moves easy. However, other residents report that management sucks at communication, is often vague and hard to get in touch with, frequently not answering phones. A significant point of frustration is the pool, which has been closed for extended periods without clear communication or timelines from management, leaving residents disappointed about paying for inaccessible amenities. Overall, experiences vary, with some residents highly recommending the complex while others feel they do not get their money's worth.
Maintenance always helps out and Staff is always available when I need them.
