Hands down the best Home Improvement center in Baldwin County. The sales associate in pant, garden and appliances are very knowledgeable. Store manager helped us load our washer and dryer. Great job!

I purchased a whirlpool refrigerator on October 2nd. Delivered October 4th. I was told by the installation crew to run and dump the ice for 72 hour and then the water would be potable. We followed the owners Manuel and the direction of the installation crew. It did not produce ice at all. My wife called the store and was told since it had been 48 hours we would have to wait for the money we spent on it for 10 days!!!! I went to the purchase sight and still the same answer. I will NEVER shop at any box stores again. I am not much of a review person as most reviews are about the employees being rude but this is a joke!!! Repair guy came to diagnostic check and a walked in and saw the refrigerator he knew he had to order parts because manufacturing had a run of bad parts. He told us the he has worked on several of these because of the problem. That being said, Lowes, knows about the issues yet still sold us that appliance anyway. We will never darken the entrance of Lowes again!!!! They get negative 5 stars from us.

I called this Lowes, which was an hour away from my homebase, and spoke with Jennifer in customer service. Jennifer went above and beyond all expectations to track down the items needed and verified that they were there before making the hour drive. Customer service now of days is few and far between but Jennifer give me hope that there still is good customer service! Thank you Jennifer so very much, someone give this woman a raise! Sincerely, Brayden Griggers

I attempted to purchase a washer and dryer today. Alas, none of the many employees walking by could be bothered to help. I approached a female associate and asked if anyone was working in appliances. She stated, "There is literally a button over there ( vaguely gestures) that you can press for help". .... I said, " Oh, literally?" She then said " I guess I can page someone over". I told her that would be great. Her page was futile as no one came by to help me. So I left. I will not return.

If you're considering working or shopping at the Daphne Lowe's, I have one piece of advice for you: don't. This is genuinely one of the worst stores in South Alabama. I feel so bad for the poor folks who work there. I have literally heard employees being yelled at. I have heard upper management threaten to fight people. I have seen one cart guy disappear into lumber and never return to help the other cart person, who seems to never stop working. I've seen people nearly run over the cart people, carts and all. I have heard from multiple employees that they were hired on full-time only to be told they have to give open availability or switch to part-time. This is a genuinely abusive workplace. Don't waste your time here.

LOWE'S MANAGER DEVOID OF EMPATHY Awful customer service at Daphne store. Unfriendly and dismissive manager. Very low on the empathy scale as you'll read. Fridge delivered with a unsightly dent on the front. Manager seemed befuddled by my request to allow the dented one to remain temporarily while they ordered a new one. He said he would have to come get the dented one before he could even order a new one. He offered me 20 percent off to keep the dented one. I didn't think that was enough. So that's where we are. When they come to pick up the dented fridge we will be without one for however long it takes to get a new one.

I wish I could give a negative star review. Do not buy an appliance and expect them to honor their word that they will install it. I purchased a counter depth refrigerator for our RV and was told by the selling employee that she spoke with someone in delivery and that in most cases they would be able to install it. I made sure the dimensions were exact and of course the delivery driver is a 3rd party service and will not put it in the RV. The manager there is no help and called it a "training opportunity " for the selling employee. Guess my frequent Lowe's trips will now be to the orange box store and I will make sure to let my entire family and group of Facebook friends know how Lowe's honors their word. They don't. Now I have a $1500 refrigerator sitting outside in the elements. Lucky me. Goodbye.

I went to lowes today. Sometimes it does not pay. So I am a disabled Veteran who uses a service dog. when checking out to the cashier was wanting to pet my working service dog even though it says do not pet. Another cashier was about 6 feet away squatting down talking to my service dog. all of a sudden my dog is walking over to her. I caught his leash and pulled him back. The first cashier started yelling at me that I should not treat the dog that way. Well if you two would have any training by your company you would no not to interact with a working service dog. I called and talked to the Assistant Manger about it and he reply to me was well I have worked her for 16 years and no one has ever complained before about us talking and petting service dogs, some people with service dogs allow that. Really lady. Perhaps you need training as well. Do you try and pet people wheel chairs, walkers and canes, so why my dog. They need to educate there staff.

Highly disappointed in the customer service at this Lowe's. Asked for help in the electrical dept, there was no one working in the electrical department. I was made to feel like a burden to the employee that I did find and ask help from. I told the guy never mind and I don't want anything from here. They lost my business tonight.

It seems that at any of the Lowe's locations getting someone to help you out on the floor is quite difficult. In the flooring department if there is someone sitting behind a computer they are usually busy with other customers or on the phone. Waiting for your turn to get help usually takes awhile. There is no one on the floor to answer questions. Walking through the aisles and trying to find what you need you're pretty much on your own. It seems there aren't enough people to help you out. I sometimes walk up and down aisles trying to find help. In the paint department it's easier to find someone behind the counter. And, in appliances there is often someone there that can help you if they aren't already helping someone else. Used the services provided for flooring and it did not work out well. The people they sent to out in carpet did the worst job with seams down the middle of the room, edges cut ragged and too short. Stupidly, used another Lowe's location to put in vinyl plank flooring and they did not deliver the flooring in time for the people they sent to install it. I had flooring installation people at my house on two rescheduled dates and no flooring that I paid for showed up. I made several phone calls begging for help because all of my furniture was moved and it was the week of Christmas. The flooring was supposed to be installed the first week of December and it wasn't installed until after Christmas. I ended up putting an artificial table top tree on the counter in the kitchen. 3 stars for convenience of the online ordering and pick-up which I learned I could do without the frustration of going in and trying to find help. 1 star for customer service in the store.

No need for a gym membership. Go to Lowe's and ask for anything. They will send you on a hike across the store back and forth to different departments looking for the item. Nice people (that gets an extra star) but completely lost on what products they have. And checkout is a joke.

Seems unorganized after all the bonuses you would think better customer service. Twice Ive been there for a lint cleaner and a dryer vent. The app for this location will say its located in an area but even the employees cant find it. App says in stock, bin ticket on shelf in both instances but incorrect item in the spot. Lots of unbusy employees that get snippy w me and tell you lies after myself and counter person has looked it up, calls the dept and sends me to an area where I had trouble finding aisle and bay number because its unorganized. Lowes bonus gets no results.

Some of the worst service I have ever experienced. No one knows where anything is in the store, and I have to ask at least 4 people for help before I get any real service. You're treated like an issue when asking for help, and all of the employees run around in groups where you have to wait for them to finish their conversations before asking for any kind of help. Will not be coming back here.

I love home improvement; therefore, Lowe's is one of my favorite stores. The staff is more knowledgeable and better trained here than other chain hardware stores. The shelves are well stocked and very rarely can I not find what I need at Lowe's. Only for specialty screws and light bulbs do I ever really need to go elsewhere. The garden center has loads of sod, top soil, herbicides, bricks, and borders. If you need assistance, they will happily load your car. They have different tools and cleaners that you can rent.

I asked for help, and all multiple employees would do is point. Really? What to happened to taking ng me to the product and genuinely helping? I don't get it. They whine about online competition, but then don't offer the one thing they have going for them...face to face help.
