About Mobile Bay Ferry - Dauphin Island Landing
The Mobile Bay Ferry provides a smooth and scenic ride across Mobile Bay, connecting Dauphin Island to Fort Morgan. The trip is easy, relaxing and offers beautiful views of the historic forts, wildlife, and sea life. It is a memorable experience and a great cap to a beach vacation. The friendly staff make it easy to pay and load vehicles. While there may be a wait, a shop with ice cream and shakes is available. The ferry saves driving time and fuel costs. It is a first-time experience for many and is totally worth it, though note that the return trip is not required.
Good experience, but you need to be an hour early and it’s first come first serve!

Fun ride. About 40 minutes. Organized and efficient. Did not see dolphins on our trip, but others did. Relaxing little jaunt across the bay. Good price for what you get. Did not see bathrooms on board, but may have missed them.
