Definitely not the fanciest place I've ever been but, the price was right and I had a good time. Beautiful beach / ocean views. Enjoyed enjoyed it and the people running it were great. Will play again the next time I'm there.

I have loved playing this course! It is not a prime quality course as there are many challenging factors, but the new owners have already improved it from last summer.Lynne is the lady who helped my group and she was fantastic!

Well....the course is nowhere near a quality course. Sand everywhere, greens are horrendous, but sadly we kinda expected that. On to th3 good stuff....the employee was pleasant...even though the prices for what you play on are absolutely unreasonable. Rented clubs were fine, charged us $1.50 for rehash golf balls...its definitely close to a golf scam, save your money and play elsewhere, unless you just understand, that the putt putt course on the island is gonna put this place to shame. We did however make.some memories....I get that the course is under fairly new management, and they are working on it....but I shouldn't have to pay semi-private course prices for a course that is embarrassing to the game of golf....charge accordingly until you get it up to "par"

We ate at the Pirates restaurant located at the gulf course. The views from our table were pretty, the location was perfect. There was a pool you could swim in with an admission fee, and a bar. The night we went for dinner they had a live band playing. The beach wasn't far away either. Definitely fun vibes.

We ate breakfast at the Pirates Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. They serve you with plenty, plenty of food. The employees were so very kind and helpful. When back on the island, we will definitely be back.

This course has undergone major changes since the last reviews on here. It has been under new ownership for a few months and you can tell they are taking pride in fixing this place up. They just got all new golf carts and the greens are in much better condition than previously posted. If you are looking for a tour ready course, don't stop here. However, if you are a casual golfer just looking to have some fun with a great price and great views then I recommend stopping here.

$10 entry fee per person just to go down to the water?? $50 just for my family to sit on the beach? Not going back.

Been going here for years. Beach side golf course, great ocean breeze, some of the courses are not the best shape but it has improved greatly the past few years. Regardless of grass condition, still rate this course a 5 Star because of it's location.

The current owners are doing their best at keeping the course alive on a slim budget. A group needs to invest in this local treasure as the overall layout and ocean views on the back 9 are priceless. Temper expectations and enjoy your time on the sandy greens and fairways. Very few courses can boast the unique experience you get for a few bucks here. We had a great time!

Best advice I have seen came from a TripAdvisor review for this course. "Isle Dauphine is best when seen through a filter. You can play there for very little money; the scenery is beautiful...It sits right on the gulf...If they were to make this golf course pristine, with large greens and smooth fairways, the cost would probably lead to $200 greens fees!" Yes it's rough. Greens are unplayable (we were told to take an automatic 2-putt on every hole). Most of the bunkers are overgrown with weeds and tee boxes are mostly sand and dirt. But I don't recall ever having more fun playing golf!! The scenery is beautiful and the price cannot be beat. Don't forget why you're here - go enjoy the game and the setting. You'll be glad you did and be ready to come back!! ($10 green fee, $10 cart, and $3 beer from the pool house.) Five stars: I would go out of my way to play this course again!

This wonderful golf course is all about just enjoying the time on the island! Sand ...really it's an island course. Don't complain and enjoy it! I'm thankful the course is open and the island folks are great! Life is too short to complain..
