This place is a joke. I moved here in 2022 and needed a mechanic shop. Google reviews led me to Bryant Bros. My experience with these people was bad. Jeff at the front desk was a good guy so I know he was doing his job and going by shop protocol. That's why they get 1 star from me. I had my truck towed there in February and didn't get it back til around September. The engine needed rebuilding. To make a long story short I was out about $12,000 when it was all said and done. I got my truck back. The owner of the shop told me it would not pull. I need my transmission rebuilt, so I'm like, huh, it was pulling before you all touched the truck. He said my brother and I have exhausted all measures. They left my engine cover off my truck, they left my bottom engine cover off my truck, and an empty transmission fluid bottle was left under my hood. I took my truck to Under The Hood mechanic shop in Tanner. I told the guy Nate what Bryant Bros said and Nate said I bet it's the tune. Wow, people, he was right. He called me back in less than 24 hrs and told me my truck was ready. I told him Bryant Bros said I needed my transmission rebuilt he shook his head and said drive the truck. I was like Wow, these people lied about my transmission. Nate told me just give him 350 dollars for the tune so $350 versus a rebuild for $3000 look at the money I saved. They don't care about taking our hard-earned money. So I called and talked to Jeff at Bryant Bros, told him what happened, and he said he was going to relay the information. I haven't heard from them since. Of course, he denied everything I told him. I asked him if he could just reimburse me 350 for the tune, as I haven't heard from them. This is how they left my transmission lines instead of changing them while the engine was out of the truck. Of course, when I was driving it, they came loose, and luckily, I felt the truck losing power, put it in neutral, and coasted off the road. Nate fixed that for me for $260. So here I am again out of more money. I can say a lot more about this shop. My 2000 S10, they had it and didn't fix it. It was only a heating issue they couldn't fix that but they took my money. So, people, if you are looking for a great mechanic, Nate at Under The Hood in Tanner is your guy. Unless they are plugging a laptop up to tell them what's wrong with your vehicle, they can't fix complicated issues. Stay away!!!!!

I have been searching for a good performance shop in Decatur forever, but for some reason Bryant Brothers never showed up until it did with a 4.7 rating. After going there I see why. Everyone is very knowledgeable with regard to performance modifications, general repairs and they are very reasonably priced.

Gotta say, my 63 Belair has been down for over a year because of wiring issues , my son said he knew a guy… lol… brought it to the guys up there, and they fixed it quick, and went beyond what I asked …. It’s a busy place, but now I know why…. Coming from Georgia, this was my first experience with a shop here….. it was a great experience and I guess I no longer have to look elsewhere….. this is my shop…. Thanks guys…awesome job….👍

Worked on my 2005 Buick LeSabre. Replaced starter, flex plate, and did some work on the front wheel hubs. Did fantastic job. Runs and drives great now. Thanks Jeff!

Worst phone service I've ever had in my life The person that answers the phone obviously doesn't speak good English or something I don't know but doesn't understand the word I'm saying or what I want if you ask me then you get someone else answer the phone that actually knows a little bit about cars then someone that knows nothing

Took two weeks to replace the timing chain. Was told it would be ready on a Friday and then when I called was told something else had to be ordered and that it wouldn't be ready for three more days when it didn't even need the other part. Don't recommend them. Talked to several different people. They don't keep one set person to talk to people.
