Urban Atlas is a retro retail experience and eclectic little store in Decatur. It is a great record store with vintage vinyl, including punk and metal, and a music merch destination. The shop also sells vintage clothes and retro threads, bell bottoms, roller skates, crystals, herbs, plants, and locally made art, jewelry, and candles. Inside is the Mad Hatter's Tea Shop, offering a huge array of different cold and hot tea flavors. The space also hosts yoga and meditation classes. The staff is described as beyond cool, sweet, extremely nice, and unconditionally sweet. Customers call it a gem, an absolute treasure, and a favorite store for gifts.
