Took a pair of boots in that had a rubber sole that had dry rotted. The owner was very nice and laid out all options I had available for repair. He gave estimates as well and the repair was going to be pricey enough he gave his honest opinion that the repair was likely not worth it. I appreciated his honesty instead of trying to push a sale. I will be back if I ever need any shoe repair.

Took my boots to be repaired and now they look AWFUL. The new sole is uneven, the adhesive is visible and the boots are still lifting up from the sole which is why I took them in the first place. Now these boots are a HOT MESS!! Wasted $50.00 that could have went towards a new pair of ?. The craftsmanship was TERRIBLE!!!

Requires payment upfront. People would bring work in and never pick it up. Not a problem for me. Always great service and workmanship.

Took my boots in for a small repair that cost roughly $60. Although the gentleman was polite, he never called when my boots were ready and the craftsmanship was awful. The "fix" makes the boots look worse than before. You'd have to pay me to go back.

Worst place ever. Dropped boots off three weeks ago promised me that I could get them in a week.Never open on time won't answer phone calls find somewhere else to get your shoes repaired. I would give 0 stars if I could. The two times I did get an answer i was given an sorry excuse for not having them done

My daughter's $50 sandals were only a few days old when our puppy chewed through one of the straps. They repaired it with very soft kidskin leather from the inside. Barely noticeable. My daughter is pretty sensitive to textures but the leather was so soft she couldn't tell the difference. Good quality job done.

The Cobbler Bench must be under new management and operated by new owners because this professionalism and service is not what it was years ago. I brought in my Valentino sling back heels for repair, and was told they would be ready Tuesday February 22. I sent my Mother to pick up shoes today Monday February 28. The employee told my mother she could not find the shoes. Then she changed her story and said she was working on them. They were negligent and very unprofessional. I threatened to take them to small claims court in order to get my shoes. Just save your time and find another repair shop.

Worst customer service that I've ever experienced in all of my life! Hold up, and it was from the owner himself!!! I will never patronize this business again. It needs to closed down. I am sure at the rate that he's losing customers that it won't be long.**** Added the more detailed review that I posted on Facebook.Worst customer service that I've ever encountered. The owner is very rude. I stopped in on my lunch to drop off a Brahmin bag (to have the zipper replaced), and to have a pair of boots stretched. The owner was on the phone holding a conversation that should not be had in the company of customers. When I asked him if someone could help me because I was on my lunch break, he NEVER acknowledged that I was even remotely speaking to him. I guess I should have expected the lack of urgency as there was a lady standing at the counter when I got there. She was there to pick up a purse that she dropped off 3 weeks ago. He took her phone number, and promised to call her once he could "look" for it. All the while still on the phone!! Morris Shoe repair is in Fadette ( a few miles from Dothan). A little out the way, but well worth the drive. Convenience is not always the best choice!! Steer clear of this business if even a tad bit of customer service is important to you.

Brought one of my hiking boots that was missing a grommet. The guy had it fixed in no time. Very happy with the service. Also, just happy we have a cobbler in Dothan at all!
