Wow talk about stepping into history this building/hardware store is amazing. Russell Porter the Great, Great Grandson walked us around and even pointed out the hatchet marks on the floor where they would cut the rope lengths. Highly recommend

Toured the Hardware Museum today. We are from Tampa and have been through Dothan MANY times. Our guide was the great grandson of the owner and I feel he gave us first class treatment! He was so knowledgeable about not only the history of museum but the entire town. Shared many stories with us. The historic downtown has been revitalized by efforts of people like him. THANK YOU!!

Beautiful old building with lots of history! We were greeted by a kind gentleman who pointed out interesting things around the facility. We also met an employee of 60+ years who happened to be stopping in. Enjoyed it!
