“Daybreak is one of the safest cleanest well maintained extended stay hotels I have ever stayed in. The best thing about daybreak is the employees really do care about each guest. Anyone needing a place to stay for a week or longer should stop by daybreak and fined out for their self exactly how you take an old hotel and make it into and affordable beautiful place to call home for as long as you need.Rooms: The rooms are beautiful and very clean not a dust bunny hiding under the bed. It's the only hotel I'm not afraid to sit on the bed before I either put my own bedding on it or I wash what the hotel has. You can clearly see that each bed has brand new bedding from bottom to top which was impressive.Safety: The hotel is gated and monitored by cameras from every direction and the property is walked several times a night by one of the employeesWalkability: You can walk to shop eat and have a night out playing pool”

“Conveniently located close to restaurants and shopping (e.g., target} The room was clean and our requests for extra towels was quickly met. The staff were courteous and helpful. There was a clean, grassy open area with an elimination station for folks traveling with dogs but not enclosed fenced area.I was impressed with the free breakfast which included boiled eggs, waffle iron, oatmeal bar, choice of 3 cereals/ milk and a hot bar with grits/ scrambled eggs/ sausage.”

“In town tending to my mom during a recent hospital stay at Southeast Health. It's an easy drive, about 12-15 min. Parking lots are well lit, as is the lobby. Lobby and rooms are nice and clean & well maintained. I can't say I have any complaints, though this is probably the slowest elevator door I've ever seen, lol. Typical breakfast buffet with limited service hotels, though their "egg white frittata" is nothing more than a frozen egg patty. They offered biscuits and gravy Sunday morning along with their usual offerings of cereal, Muffins, Bagels, and the option to make your own Waffles (others' looked good, but I didn't have any).Service was nice and simple when I spoke to the desk, but I checked in through the app and used a digital key, so I had limited interaction with their team.Location is good, there are many restaurants and shopping around, plus it's easily accessible. Good place for families or quick trips in/out of town. The bed was very comfortable, I loved the comforter; it hugged me and kept me very warm.Overall, it was a good stay. I'd stay here again.”

“Had to leave a dingy motel not far from here due to there non smoking policy NOT being enforced. We scrambled around and found this place.only 15$ pet fee, clean rooms and friendly staff. Worth the booking on a budget!!Rooms: Large and accessible. Feels like a condo”

“We were pleased with the location and the room met our expectations. The bathroom needed a bit of updating but it was clean (as was the room). It was missing a washcloth and a hand towel, but we were able to get them from the front desk with no problems. The beds were comfortable. The shower water pressure wasn't very good. The breakfast was well stocked, we were a little disappointed that they were serving chicken patties with eggs for breakfast, but we just selected other choices, so no big deal. The staff were really nice. The first floor rooms are designated as pet friendly rooms, so we chose to stay on the top floor. The parking lot was very well lit and clean, we would recommend staying at this location.Noteworthy details: Seemed like the staff cared about their customers, we were pleased.”

“Two days ago, I stayed at this hotel and was extremely impressed by the friendly receptionists Mrs. Sierra Jackson and Mrs. Zukiera Pearson. They were very kind and professional in helping me out with everything I asked. Their smiles made me feel at home. I went to the restaurant Mrs. Zukiera recommended; it was excellent and we enjoyed the dinner very much.I want to also commend the nice young gentlemen who served the breakfast. Although the breakfast was not rich, his great service made it up: a clean environment, warm food, and sufficient supplies.Additionally, the place was clean and updated, very comfortable, and a big room. It is indeed like a hidden jewel but conveniently located in a place adjacent to the Mall and a good choice of restaurants.I will stay there again when the time comes.Thank you all for the great service.”

“Stayed one night. Checked in late. Front desk lady was super nice and accommodating. Room is huge and love the full fridge and microwave. Room was clean. The muffins were awesome and the kids loved all the breakfast options. Would be a great place to stay for long stays or short stays. Overall great experience. A few suggestions. The tile floor was sticky, maybe should try a different type of cleaner. The tub was very slippery when i stepped in, again not sure if it was from cleaning supply or just the tub material itself. Had to go to front desk for linens for sofa bed which was a minor inconvenience not sure if they are suppose to be in room or not but if not would suggest keeping a set in the room. Also would suggest one more mirror between the 2 wall cabinets in the studio area. Again just suggestions. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.”

“Only stayed night of 12/3/2023 while traveling. Did not see any construction like other reviews reported.Pros: Clean room, great AC, plenty of towels, TV, free parking, easy check in, good location.Cons: Furnishings showed signs of age, coffee maker did not work, refrigerator made a loud noise, doggy area is not fenced and beside a busy street. Did not report coffee maker or fridge since we were not staying on.”

“So, not to bad. The room itself needs upgrades. Need to replace the selection placard for air-conditioning. Can read it., Front door on room is difficult to close, shower head seams kinda cheap. Seams corroded.Nearby activities: Bar”

“My stay here was fairly pleasant. The room was clean, and the lady at the front desk was super nice and inviting. It also was one of the cheaper nicer options vs. staying at some sketchy motel.Walkability: Near plenty of shopping and restaurants!”

“We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years with our large dog. They renovated all of the rooms last year which is nice, but they still have the window AC/heat units which are loud and the heat in ours didn’t work well and never shut off. They also use Dish satellite instead of cable so the TVs cut out often. The hotel is in a good location, serves a hot breakfast, and it’s mostly quiet and seems safe; we’ve never had any issues. We stay there because they accept large dogs, but we do miss the days of no charge for pets (now it’s $25 per night) and the nightly rates overall have went up since the renovation, but I guess that’s how it goes. Anyway, it’s a decent enough hotel if you land a good rate since the prices seem to fluctuate quite a bit.”

“Very friendly staff and very accommodating to us as my husband is in a wheelchair. Our room was very nice and there was a huge roll in shower. The location of our room was great. A big shout out to maintenance (Mark?)for everything. Our a/c-heater went out in our room and he was on it in no time.. Thank you, we had a nice warm room.”

“My stay at Guesthouse Inn was okay. It is convenient because there are several restaurants in walking distance. Also in walking distance to hospital and pharmacies. It definitely is not a 4 star hotel or anything but I don't have any real complaints either”

“We had a wonderful stay at this Dothan location.Office staff was tremendously helpful and offered a list of fun places for our Kiddos to enjoy. One Staff worker that really stood out (I believe her name was Scarlet) had a sweet demeanor about her. Before leaving this Review I was curious as to how many others had experienced the great service with clean and cozy rooms as my family had.I was very disappointed at most of the Reviews. Everyone should know when a person leaves a negative Review they're just being spiteful and vengeful. When someone leaves a bad Review in my opinion speaks volumes for their characterThrough my years of living I have learned one thing that is certain. When a person leaves a negative Review it's purely one Sided, Most people that work with or for the Public are generally nice people since that's 99.9% of their Job. If someone leaves a bad Review ones Offering Negative or Mean Vibes. So keep in mind next time you leave or read a negative review 9 out 10 times the one leaving a a bad review was either trying to get a free or discounted stay or maybe free food . They think leaving a Review is a way of getting back at someone when it only shows their true colors. I would stay here again and again purely to have affiliation with the management team again. Thanks InTown Suites”

“My father was inpatient at SouthEast Alabama Medical Center and I just needed somewhere close and inexpensive. This is the cleanest budget friendly place I’ve ever stayed in. The front desk manager was very accommodating with anything I needed and their continental breakfast is decent, and every single staff member I encountered had a smile. There is a $50 cash deposit due at check in, and it was refunded immediately in cash upon checkout. The water was hot and my room was comfortable. I felt safe.I will stay here every time!Safety: Well lit, and in a great area. I never didn’t feel safe.”

“The room I stayed in did have bed bugs but I bought bed bugs treatment and kept the room clean for $45 a night can't expect everything to be 100% and goes along with people keep their rooms belongings and themselves clean I've stayed in big name motel/hotel and found bed bugs before at those places so you just roll the dice I mean it not always the owner fault alot of times it's never reported to the owner or manager of the placeRooms: Decent sizeSafety: Not best area but you mind your own business and everything is fine. Everyone who stay here don't bother no one peaceful most of the timeWalkability: There's two convenience store within walking distance and a pool table bar where you can go play pool within walking distanceNoteworthy details: Owner is very nice and understanding and the whole family has been amazing and I appreciate them working with me when I can't pay before check out time they have been patient and gave me extra time to get the money.”

“Had a 1pm check in. Did not get in until 3pm. The manager was rude and had an attitude because, we were upset. And had the nerve to say we could stay somehere else. No discount or appology for the inconvience. When we got in the room after a 2 hour wait it was still dirty. But, we did appreciate the front desk employee Talana and housekeeper Tania they made it better. Thank you ladies. But, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone”

“This is a cheap hotel so don't expect much but what you can expect is clean rooms without bed bugs, not the nicest but I did say cheap hotel. It has a pool that is actually clean and family friendly and ready to be used by guest. There is WiFi here I believe it is also free with the purchase of a room. I've stayed here 3 times, rooms are always clean, bathroom and showers are clean and not full of mold. I never heard the other guest being overly loud and never had anyone bother me at anytime during the day or night. Not alot of noticeable things to frown upon as far as cheap hotels in Dothan on or near the circle I'd say this is the best for 50-60 a night. They have working security cameras on the walkways and paths to rooms and on the parking lots and I never felt that it or I was not safe. Safe, cheap, and clean place to stay the night or a few days, plus the pool. Can't beat it unless you'd like or are able to spend twice as much.Rooms: Clean rooms without bed bugs and tons of mold and stains ( not a ton of mold or stains and no bed bugs)Nearby activities: Pool, and it's a rock throw away from the circle.Safety: Anyways felt safe at all times of day and nightWalkability: Not much close by to walk to except a few gas stations and a waffle House and Denny's and a few fast food places some other restaurants. Look on Google maps and scroll around by the hotel to see them.Food & drinks: Waffle House and Denny's near by as well as a few other fast food places and restaurants.Noteworthy details: It has a pool that's clean and rooms that are clean and quiet.”
