I dropped my car off at this location on 10/02/2023 to have a diagnostic test done because at times my car would start up slow. They called and told me I needed a fuel pump that cost well over a $1,000 dollars and some other minor repairs. They told me they would have to order the fuel pump so I would have to schedule an appointment to bring it back in and have it put on. I agreed to have the minor repairs done ,and bring my car back to have the fuel pump put on. When I got back to the dealership, my car wouldn’t start at all. The mechanics jumped me off and then told me it must be the battery. I then stated that I was told it was the fuel pump. The mechanic said no, you just need a new battery. When I looked at the dash board on my car, the check engine light was on. I asked them why when the check engine light wasn’t on when I left it with them. In fact the check engine light has never came on in my car before. He told me to pull it around back. He hooked my car up to a machine and then the check engine light went off. I asked him what made it come on in the first place. He said it came on because when he changed the oil gasket he pressure washed my engine and it must have came in because my engine was still wet. On my drive back to Atlanta, my tire pressure light came on, (after they had rotated my tires that same day) I noticed my oil life still said 30%( they had changed my oil and should have set the oil life back to 100%), and the worst thing about all this my check engine light came back on 11 days later. I spent almost 700 dollars for a oil gasket repair, air filter, oil change, battery, and a diagnostic test. I was told when I left that my car was fine and in tip top running condition, and now my check engine light is on. I don’t know what these mechanics did to my car, but now I have more problems than I had when I took my car to them. I drove all the way from Atlanta because I have had work done by these guys on my car in the past, and I trusted them. This was my first time ever allowing them to touch my engine and now I am going to have to take my car to another auto mechanic to see why my check engine light is on. Save your time, money, and car by not taking it to this location. It’s sad that you take your car into a dealership that makes the car, and they have to guess at what’s wrong with it. I don’t know what they did to my engine but it’s going to cost me to fix what they broke. They usually will mark on the check list what needs attention. I notice the check list inspection isn’t completed either. They probably didn’t even change my oil, but I was charged for it .

My husband and I were on our third 25-hour one-way trip in a year from Omaha, NE to Vero Beach, FL today when we noticed that the battery light was on on the dash board. After doing some Google research, we realized we might need a new alternator and Jim Skinner Honda was 20 miles away. Needless to say, Shawn and his service technicians worked on finding an alternator for us and worked us in to their already busy work schedule on Memorial Day Weekend to fix it so we could get back on the road. We are beyond thankful and grateful for their hard work!

I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND GETTING AN OIL CHANGE HERE … SHON CONNELLY HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY DRY. DOESN’T KNOW WHAT HES TALKING ABOUT. HE TOLD ME THEY DIDN’T HAVE ANY MORE APPOINTMENTS FOR THE DAY I ASKED HIM TO GET HIS MANAGER HER NAME IS SUSAN SHE WAS POOR AS WELL HER TONE OF VOICE AS A “MANAGER” IS VERY UNACCEPTABLE. SHE DID ENFORCE THAT I COULD GET OIL CHANGE AT 3 BUT WHY COULD THAT NOT HAVE BEEN TOLD TO ME BY SHON INSTEAD HE STEERED ME AWAY. THATS NOT HOW YOU CONDUCT BUSINESS. MY MOM CALLED TOLD ME TO JUST GET THE OIL CHANGE EVEN AFTER DEALING WITH THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I WENT BACK IN AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WASN’T GOING TO CHANGE MY OIL. WTH. SHON WANTED TO KNOW MY PERSONAL BUSINESS RATHER THAN TRYING TO GET ME AN OIL CHANGE AFTER LYING TO ME STATING HE DIDN’T HAVE ANYTHING AVAILABLE 0/10 RATING HE DIDN’T EVEN TRY TO SEE WHAT THEY HAD AVAILABLE MIND YOU THEY CLOSE AT 5 THEY ONLY HAD 3 people in front of me. this was around 12:30 it was plenty of time for me to get an oil change. rather than asking a customer why i went over so many miles that’s my business not y’all
