Update:On Sunday 4/10 I was able to use my card instore for some items.I'm not sure why on Saturday that was not an option after paying those bills. I looked through all my paperwork and there was nothing about a limit.Midsouth has reached out however I am unable to answer their call currently due to being at work.Again this is NOT an employee issue. They are always courteous and helpful!I'm hoping this is just some weird glitch because the account is new.4/9 They get a two because their employees are always courteous and helpful. The issue is I've waited the required amount of time to get my debit card. Finally got it today. Paid two bills with it that were under $100 and now I can't use my card because the bank, not me, set a daily withdrawal limit on my card. I am nearly 50 years old. I know how much I can spend and on what. I don't need the bank to babysit my spending especially when I have direct deposit set up. So here I sit for another two days unable to do what needs to be done until they open on Monday so I can call and find out what in the world is the problem this time. I've already had to take time off of work to go get cash out in the bank due to not having the card yet. They put a "mandatory" 10 day hold on a check that I received from a business that had I not made multiple phone calls and got both that company and the branch manager on the line in a conference call, I would not have had access to those funds until the 18th of April. There are entirely too many restrictions and basically your account is held hostage.Unfortunately I do not have the time or the ability to change banks again.Do better!
