“There is Absolutely NOT Enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !!!!! Dr. Julie Cleverdon, DVM is BEYOND BRILLIANT! Victoria her Vet-Tech, Extraordinary!!!! All Staff, Outstanding! From start to finish, by FAR, THE VERY BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I have worked with many veterinarians/specializations, such as small animal vets for pets like dogs and cats, large animal vets for livestock like cattle and pigs, and equine vets for horses. To also include exotic, wildlife, and zoo vets. Even laboratory animal vets who work in research. The peacefulness of the facility ♥️♥️♥️. The SINCEREST Utmost Care, Total Health and Well-Being of My Animals! I could go on and on! It is probably the first time I wished that I could be an animal. I know the thought must come across redonkulous. If I could have Dr. Cleverdon as my doctor (and her staff) as my attending practitioner, how marvelous it would be! I am TREMENDOUSLY GRATEFUL & THANKFUL that my animals have HER and Her Staff !!!”

“I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Canal Road Animal Hospital. We were in town for the holiday and one of our cats was not well when we got into town. He was seen the next morning and the staff and Dr. Taylor were so kind and caring. It was such a relief to have my distressed cat seen by Dr. Taylor. “We visited Dr. Brown for the first time today, and he was amazing!! So kind and good to my fur baby. She had a UTI and the front desk staff was so nice, they were able to get us in last minute that same day because we could tell something was wrong that morning. We got in the office and out within an hour and got the medicine my baby needs to feel all better soon and Dr. Brown even gave us a card and wrote his number on there for us if we needed anything. Such a great experience! If we lived here, I would be happy going to this office for all of our vet visits!! :)”
“One week ago tonight I brought my 17 year old donkey in, that was very sick from a poisionous snake bite. He was struggling to breathe and many more complications and I wasn't sure if he would make it. The staff jumped into action and started the anti-venom drip and during the night was given 2 bags of fluid. He not only lived but is thriving and is as spoiled as ever. They saved his life. This facility and their staff is one of the finest I have ever dealt with. I could not recommend them enough. They are fantastic! Thank you Gulf Coast Equine Hospital.”
“I really recommend this place, I was frantically searching for a vet to take my pixie frog too as he’s not feeling well, VCA was the only place in this area that’s willing to work on frogs! The vet showed genuine concern for my little guy and treated him with the exact care I was looking for. I’m so grateful for the employees here and help from the vet!!!”
“My dog cut himself running in the woods on a Saturday. He required stitches and medicine. We arrived a couple minutes after they closed, but the wonderful and patient staff did everything needed to take care of my dog. I’m greatly appreciative.”
“My 11 year old male boxer began having some strange symptoms which I discussed with and were checked by Dr. Riddick in December 2025 during his annual checkup. After his symptoms worsened we took him in again this past week and he was seen by Dr. Stewart. We have been taking him to Baldwin Animal Clinic ever since we moved to Fairhope in 2020. He has had a couple of minor surgeries, the most recent one was performed by Dr. Birdsong. His very first visit there was with Dr. Stewart. We have also boarded him there several times while we were traveling. These folks are the best...just wonderful! The doctors, the front desk staff, and all of the other employees have treated our dog with so much love and wonderful care. We are so blessed to have this veterinary clinic close to our home.”

“I can't say enough about how wonderful the vet herself and all of her team was to me, my son and our fur baby Cooper. Never ever do you want to put your baby down but he was very old and it was his time and they made us feel like family and took great care of our baby.”
