I was really surprised to learn that they make all of their products in house. Very friendly and knowledgeable employees and I would definitely return!

The old gray-haired woman is, to put it politely, very odd and a general jerk. Put on lotion that said "TRY ME" and when I went to go wash it off she walked behind me and very snarkily said: "You know if you wanted to smell it you should have smelled the bars." To which then I came up with some lie of: "Oh, um, I'm allergic?" Because I was so embarrassed, because apparently I'm not allowed to test out lotions that smell really bad (Oh my god, Southern Grace should not smell like crusty white dog.) She asked what I bathed with and I said Bath and Body Works, their unscented stuff, to which she then started to slander Bath and Body Works "They put chemicals in there! We don't!" The entire time my group and I were in there, she stared us down with her arms crossed and creeped us out.
Their prices are high, but that's what you get when apparently you're "better" than Bath and Body Works. The actual prices aren't on the rack or shelf. You have to actually scan a QR code to see.
Had one woman, very bubbly, brown hair. Walked up to us and asked us what we wanted very kind. But the old woman was just a Debbie Downer. I think the bubbly woman was the owner, and the old woman was the mother who doesn't understand how "TRY ME" test products work. I would have rather been around the nice woman that entire trip.
Aside from service, the soaps are okay ish, they're smell is faint, but sometimes you come across an "Oh my god, why would you make this." The strawberry products were pretty good, might have bought something if I wasn't stared down and snarked at.

Very friendly staff. The products are amazing! So far, my favorite is the orange cranberry soap and body lotion. I really appreciate the fact that they don't use harsh chemicals. They have so many other things besides soap and lotion. Everyone should visit at least one time. I'm pretty sure you will want to go back!

Very nice family-run soap shop! The couple who runs the shop gave us a proper introduction to soaps for shaving, cleaning, and exfoliation. Stop into the shop and take in the delicious aroma!

I tried to support a local, main street business by shopping here. The first experience wasn't good, but I tried a second time. Walking in, there is always a friendly person working the desk. And then it goes downhill. The owner comes out after you've already been there for 5-10 minutes and have talked to the salesperson about what you're looking for. The owner gets up really close to you, and after telling him you don't need help, he will not back off and is very intrusive. It's very annoying. They also have "In god we trust" on everything. I'm not religious and don't want that on products I buy. They sent me an email for a survey after the visit. I left these two issues on it and received a hostile email from the owner in response. What kind of business owner does that? It shouldn't be such a hostile experience to try to buy soap.
