Trackside Truck Stop is a small-town Shell gas station with plenty of parking, though the lot is somewhat rough. It features hot, delicious food, including fried chicken, wedges, and jolepenio poppers, all at good prices. The staff are friendly and honest, exemplified by a helpful employee who ensured customers received their change after an accidental overpayment. The truck stop offers basic amenities like diesel pumps, but no showers or 24-hour service are available. While the bathroom can be unclean and some pumps out of order, the welcoming staff and tasty food make it a decent stop for travelers.
Nice little place. There are some pretty big holes in the parking lot. I have to watch what you’re doing. Bathroom was exceptionally clean and fried chicken. I got six piece bone in fabulous well worth the stock.

Just got gas but the pump we used the gas hose looks like it needed to be replaced

Stopped on our way through to fill up, but ended up with fried chicken and a biscuit that were phenomenal! Clean restrooms also. Good pit stop headed home from New Orleans.
