late night gas stop, clean & well stocked for every road trip!

I was accosted and harassed here by an angry and aggressive local, while trying to get gas in broad daylight. It was clear that my family was not welcome here. If this interaction is a reflection of this community, this is not a safe area or somewhere to stop unless it is your last resort.
This gas station is not family friendly. I would choose another exit east or west bound (like near Meridian MS) to get gas at or to stop for a break.

The truck stop is a shell , gas station. And they have hot food, and it is delicious. We had fried chicken, wedges, and jolepenio poppers. The price is good, and we accidentally overpaid and walked out. We went back to get water, and the man behind the counter made sure he gave us our change. That's honest.
