Dr. Music Records is a very nice record store located in downtown Fairhope, near Gulf Shores. It is an authentic record store and a sonic sanctuary for music lovers. The store sells both new and used vinyl, with new vinyl mostly in the $25-$35 range and VG-Ex quality used vinyl in the $10-$20 range, all well marked. They also have a bargain bin of cheaper vinyl and a great selection of new and old bands for any musical taste. Beyond records, it offers classic audiophile gear like turntables, custom speaker suitcases, speakers, and amps. The owner is a fantastic, super friendly, and very knowledgeable guy who is more than eager to help. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. The store is a treasure trove of vinyl records and all things music, described as a neat place that feels like walking back in time. It is a great spot to browse, discover music, and indulge musical needs, highly recommended for vinyl lovers in the area.
I loved this record store, we went to Alabama to visit my sister and thay had a great selection for the size, and the lady at the desk was so so so nice I'm so glad I'm able to support local businesses
